About University
Established in 1996, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences popularly known as RGUHS, is an affiliating university having numerous medical, dental and paramedical colleges under its jurisdiction. Most of the affiliated colleges are situated in the state of Karnataka and are consistently ranked among the top institutions of the country.
The university offers various UG, PG and Research programmes in diverse fields of health sciences such as medical, nursing, dentistry, paramedical, pharmacy, physiotherapy, unani and ayurveda. Admission to the university courses is done on the basis of qualifying degree merit/ entrance examination marks.
RGUHS Admissions
RGUHS MBBS and B.Pharm Admissions
The university offers various UG programmes in the fields of medical, nursing, pharmacy and several others. Admission to the UG courses offered by the university is conducted on the basis of merit in the qualifying degree. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official university website by submitting application form along with the processing fee in the form of demand draft (DD) within the stipluated time.
RGUHS BDS and MDS Admissions
In addition to medical UG & PG programmes, the university also offers courses in dentistry viz, BDS and MDS. Admission to the above mentioned programmes is done through merit in the qualifying examination or entrance test. Interested candidates can download the application form through the official university website and submit them upon completion in person or by post along with the fee and necessary enclosures.
RGUHS Ph.D Admissions
In addition to UG and PG programmes, the university also offers Research course viz. Ph.D in various disciplines such as medical, dentistry, pharmacy and nursing. Only candidates who have obtained Master’s Degree in the concerned subject are eligible to apply for the programme. Candidates can register for admission by filling-in the onlineapplication form and submitting the application (in person/by post) along with required processing fee, on or before last date.
RGUHS MD and M.Ch Admissions
The university also offers super-speciality programmes such as DM and M.Ch in several disciplines including Nephrology, Cardiology, Neurosurgery and Neurology. Only candidates who are a citizen of India and has a MBBS Degree from a University are eligible to apply for the course. Candidates can register for admission by filling-in the online application form and submitting the application (in person/by post) along with required processing fee.
RGUHS MD and MS Admissions
The university offers PG programmes such as MD and MS in the faculties of ayurveda, Naturopathy & Yogic Sciences as well as Homeopathy. Admission to the above mentioned programmes is done on the basis of merit obtained in the entrance test examination, conducted by the university. Candidate can download the application form online from the university website and submit it upon completion along with the processing fee and supporting documents.
RGUHS M.Sc and M.Pharm Admissions
In addition to medical programmes, the university also offers PG courses in nursing and pharmacy viz. M.Sc Nursing and M.Pharm. Selection of the candidates will be based on the merit in the qualifying examination or interview conducted by the university admission committee. Those seeking admission can download the application form online through the official website and submit it along with the necessary enclosures and required processing fee.
RGUHS Result
Candidates can check their semester results by following the below given steps:
- Firstly, students should log on to the official university website and navigate to the “Results” section
- Next, candidate should click on the “Candidate wise Results” link in order to open the RGUHS college portal for results
- In the next window, student should enter his/her registration number and select the Exam ID and click on “View” button
- Candidate’s result is instantly displayed on the screen which they can download and take a print out of it for future reference
