My four years in the education sector have been quite positive and promising. which makes the profession yet more interesting and challenging at the same time. The greatness of this sphere is the paramount obligation enjoined on teaching fraternity to produce the potential torch-bearers by imparting them holistic education as well as instilling in them ethical values to lay down a bedrock or morality on which the nation grows in all sphere. The best part of being in this sector is knowledge sharing and knowledge acquisition. The role of a professor today is not confined to the classroom but has expanded to involve the students with different activities such as visiting the courts, organising legal aid camps etc.
Curriculum of IFIM Law College
The curriculum at IFIM Law College aims at a holistic development of the students. The college also has various Centres of Excellence working on various areas such as Women and Child Law, Consumer Laws, IPR etc. which enables the students to enhance the horizon of their knowledge in the domain of their interest. In addition to the courses provideed by Karnataka State Law University (KSLU), the college provides certain enhanced learning courses for the students in each semester. The inclusion of Individuality Enhancement Program (PEP) is commendable one.
IFIM Law College being in the third year of its growth has offered 100% internship to students at reputed NGO’s, Law Firms, Corporate houses. The training offered to the students boost the confidence level and dedication to access their dream goal.
I share a positive relationship with the students in guiding and mentoring them in the pursuit of their goal for which I make myself available throughout the working time in the institute.
My goal in the next few years is to see IFIM Law College as one of the premier law colleges in India that the students are equipped with the skills to meet the challenges of the ever-evolving legal domain and do any role which legal education provides.
Choose law as a career, not as an option. Accordingly, I would suggest the aspiring students have a vision before taking admission in the Law College which can be set in motion on comple2tion of 5 years.
