The Krishna Kanta Handiqui State Open University (KKHSOU) provides a number of various programmes at the postgraduate and doctoral level, including Master’s degrees, Post Graduate Diplomas, and Ph.D. programmes. The University does not only provide a variety of Under Graduate courses, but it also provides Bachelor Preparatory Programmes as well.

The University follows a semester system for all UG, Post Graduate & Doctoral courses. Therefore, examinations are held at the end of both the even and odd semesters. For Master’s programmes, the odd semester begins in October, with the examinations in the month of April and May, whereas the even semester begins in the month of May, with examinations in the month of October.

Examinations are held at various centers, which are specified by the university well in advance. Re-scrutiny applications are accepted up to one month after the declaration of results at a nominal, non-refundable fee. Results are declared in a timely attitude primarily via the medium of the university’s online portal. The declaration of these re-scrutiny results is posted online as well as sent to the participant, along with corrected mark sheet, if applicable.

The examination schedule is posted every semester on the official website of the university, under the ‘Examination Center’ tab. The latest announced Examination schedule provides the following details regarding the 5th-semester examinations of the different undergraduate courses at the university:

The examinations are held in the month of May for Master’s programmes for the odd semester. The other Bachelor programmes had their end semester examinations in the month of February. The list of examination centers can also establish online on the university official website.

The examination results are also declared online via the official university website. Aspirants may follow these steps to check their results.

  • Go to the official website of the University.
  • Click on the ‘Examination’ tab under Quick Links, or the relevant notification in the ‘Latest News’ ticker on the home page.
  • Click on the relevant list under the heading ‘Semester Results’. Each semester will have a separate list.
  • The results are given in the form of a list of register numbers under each division, i.e. First Class or Second Class etc., along with the overall statistics of the relevant course.
  • If the aspirant has had his or her results withheld, they must clear the concerned issue within 45 days to obtain their result. After this time period, a penalty will be implemented.

KKHSOU Re-evaluation Result 2018

In the case of a aspirant being unsatisfied with the obtained result, he or she may choose to apply for re-scrutiny. Participants can apply for this a maximum of three times, and applications will be accepted only during the one-month duration following the declaration of results.

  • Aspirants can apply by paying the fee (Rs. 100 for re-scrutiny, Rs. 200 for photocopy, Rs. 300 for re-evaluation, per response script), as well as filling in the need form within the time duration stipulated by the university.
  • The form is available online, and the results are similarly declared via the official university website.
  • Results are sent to the participants at the address said on the self-addressed envelope that needs to be submitted alongside the application for re-scrutiny.
  • If there is any improvement in marks, a corrected score sheet will be sent to the related individual as well.

  • The results are given in the form of a list of register numbers alongside the name of the paper, and the result of the re-scrutiny, i.e. ‘No Change’ or the stipulated changed marks.
