The entire Post Graduate courses are divided into four semesters. There will be one written & one practical examination at the end of coursework of each semester. Students have to appear in the internal assessment, as it is compulsory to complete the coursework.
In order to secure the degree in the final semester, students have to perform well in various areas such as Project Report, Term Paper & Fieldwork report as a part of the special or optional papers. Students have to secure at least 55% marks to qualify in these areas.
Provisional semester result will be published along with the total marks obtained by an aspirant in each paper. Students can check their result by going via the below-listed steps: In case, if an aspirant fails to secure qualifying marks in a particular semester examination then the result of next semester examination will be treated as Semester Not Cleared (SNC). The final result of an aspirant will be determined by considering marks of all four semesters.
Students can apply for improvement in their semester marks, offered they have scored at least 50% marks in the respective course. Students must note that they cannot apply for improvement of marks in case of Term Paper, Project Paper, Internal assessment & viva-voce.
