Aspirants who satisfy XAT eligibility criteria 2018 can proceed towards XAT Registration. Read How to apply for XAT 2018? until November 30, 2017. It can be done on the official website i.e. xatonline.net.in. This year, almost 90,000 aspirants are expected to appear for the test.
It is important that the XAT application form is submitted on time in online method along with the application fee. Application forms without fee payment will be rejected. Payment of the application fee can be done via the online method or offline method. Clearly filled forms along with the application fee must be sent to the office address along with the list of important documents.

For admission to XLRI, XAT is accepted and only 3 courses are provided:
XAT is although a tough exam, but there is no limit on the number of attempts. Generally, students take 3-5 attempts for XAT. Best is to complete the exam in one or two attempts since there is no fixed level of difficulty of the exam. A serious candidate is able to secure a seat in two to three attempts.
Aspirants belonging to the below categories are applicable to apply for XAT. They have the option of either applying through XAT or GMAT.
NRI / Foreign Students: Definition as per "Regulation for admission of NRI/Foreign Nationality/Person of Indian Origin", AICTE letter dated 24 April 2002 is as follows:
Step 1- Registration- The first step requires you to visit the official website and register using your individual details. You will receive a unique ID and Password to clear further process.
Step 2- Fill Application Form- Here, you must fill-in your individual and academic details, work experience, preferred course, and exam center.
Step 3- Fee Payment- Here, aspirants will need to pay the requisite application fee in either online or offline method. The Application Fee for XAT is INR 1600/- (INR 2000/- if you pay the late fee) for all categories.
Step 4- Upload Documents- Aspirants will need to upload scanned images of their recent photograph and signature
Step 5- Confirmation Page- Post previewing all the filled data, you will receive a confirmation page.

Q1) I have got backlogs in graduation, can I apply for XAT?
Ans ) Yes, you can apply but your admission will be finalized only if you complete the subject before the commencement of the semester in MBA school. The documents must be submitted to your college, where your admission has been done provisionally done.
Q2) I am a final year student, what to fill in the percentage filed?
Ans ) Add the aggregate percentage of marks obtained until the time of filling the form.
Q3) By completing the registration procedure, am I applicable for XLRI and other affiliated members?
Ans) You must fulfill XAT eligibility criteria 2018 given by each of the member institutes separately which are registered as XAT associate member.
Q4) Is XAT test used for admission to XLRI?
Ans) Yes, only via XAT you get admission in XLRI institute.
Q5) Is internship or Articleship counted as work experience?
Ans) NO, they are not counted as work experience.
Q6) I have a Post Graduate degree, what to put in the percentage field?
Ans) Put up your Post Graduate percentage as Post Graduate percentage.
Q7) I took 6 subjects in class 10, do I have to put best of 5 in class 10 exam field?
Ans) No, just put the class 10 total percentage.
Q8) Does the work experience before Graduation is counted?
Ans) No, it is not counted as work experience.
Q9) Can I apply via GMAT?

Aspirants who fulfill all the above criteria can register themselves latest by November 20. Successfully registered aspirants will appear for XAT 2018 on January 7. In case the authorities find out incorrect or faulty information, the application will be rejected.
