TUEE 2018 (Tezpur University Entrance Exam 2018) is an offline entrance exam organized by Tezpur University, Assam. TUEE 2018 is held for admission to aspirants in different courses such as B. Tech, MA, M.Sc, etc.

Eligibility Criteria for TUEE 2018

Eligibility for TUEE 2018 varies from course to course. Therefore, to report a single eligibility criterion is not possible. However, for a general idea of eligibility, aspirant may focus on following points:

  • Students must have scored minimum 50% marks in Class 12.
  • They must have passed the applicable graduation course or equivalent examination from a recognised institute with minimum 50% marks (for general aspirant).
  • Aspirants, opting for Ph.D. course must have passed post graduation in relevant principle with minimum 55% marks (for general aspirants).
  • Aspirants must have scored minimum 50% marks in Class 10.

TUEE Application Form 2018

Application form for TUEE 2018 will be available from 2nd week of March 2018. Aspirants can fill the application form from the official website of the university.

Aspirants may perform the following steps to apply for TUEE 2018:

  • Aspirants may select the desired course and fill the details and upload the documents thus need.
  • Aspirants are advised to take the printout of duly filled form for future reference.

TUEE Hall Ticket 2018

Admit card for TUEE 2018 will be available around 2nd week of May 2018. Aspirants can download the Hall Ticket from the official website. Aspirants will be notified by SMS/ email to download the hall ticket. TUEE 2018 admit Card offers all the useful information regarding the test, such as time of the test, roll number of aspirant and examination center.

Exam Format for TUEE 2018

Exam Format of TUEE 2018 is to be decided by the university itself and is subject to changes over the years.  TUEE 2018 is an offline paper-based test. The important thing about TUEE 2018 exam format is that structure of question paper varies from course to course.

Here are some highlights of TUEE 2018 Exam Format:

  • TUEE 2018, for all courses, will be of 100 marks.
  • There will be negative marking for inaccurate responses, which will be 1/4th of the value of responses a question correctly.
  • The number of question and division of sections varies according to the course; however, the details listed above will remain same.
  • All the questions will be of the objective type in TUEE 2018.
  • TUEE 2018 will be an offline paper-based test, aspirants will be given OMR sheets to mark their answer to any question.
  • Aspirants will be given a total period of 90 minutes to clear the test (for all courses).

Most of the papers will have either 50 or 100 questions. For a paper with 50 questions, a value of each accurate response will be 2 marks and negative marking will be 0.5 marks. For a paper of 100 questions, the value of accurate response will be 1 marks and negative marking will be 0.25 marks.

TUEE Result 2018

The result of TUEE 2018 is expected to be declared in 2nd week of June 2018. Result will be made available on the official website in the form of shortlisted aspirants’ list. Aspirants can follow following steps to view the result of TUEE 2018:

  • Now on the right side of this newly opened page, aspirants will be able to see link for results, click on that.
  • Go to the official website of TUEE 2018
  • Aspirants may search their name or roll number in the list to find whether they are shortlisted or not.
  • A PDF file will start loading for that course, mentioning the names and details of shortlisted aspirants.
  • Select the course for which you seeking to see the result.

After a week of announcing of lists, aspirants may find a link named ‘View Score Sheets’ on the same page. Aspirants can download their TUEE 2018 Scorecard by clicking on this link and entering the credentials so asked.

Counseling Procedure of TUEE 2018

Aspirants who have completed an at least cutoff or qualifying score are called for TUEE 2018 counseling procedure. Tezpur University also has a provision for Online Counseling. Appearing in Counseling as necessary and no aspirant will be given admission if he/she does not appear for Counseling.

While going for Counseling, aspirants must not forget to carry following documents:

  • Detailed Marks certificate of Class 12
  • Detailed marks certificate of Class 10
  • Score Sheet of TUEE 2018 (if available)
  • Migration certificate from board/university last studied
  • Other legal certificates such as proof of residence, income proof etc.
  • Hall Ticket of TUEE 2018
  • Degree certificate of Graduation/ Post Graduation (if eligible)
  • Self-attested copies of all the documents listed above
  • Passport sized pictures of aspirant
  • Caste/Category Certificate
  • Character Certificate or Certificate of organizing from institution last studied

If aspirant has not finished his/her degree and is waiting for final year/semester results, and due to this reason, some of the above-listed certificates are not available, then aspirant required to produce these certificates before November 15, 2018.
