TS LAWCET 2018, designated as Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test 2018, is an online National Level Exam organized for admission into 3 years and 5 year LLB courses in the state of Telangana. TS LAWCET is organized by Kakatiya University on behalf of TSCHE (Telangana State Council for Higher Education) which is the authority responsible for control of Higher Education in the state.

5 Year LLBFor admission in 5 year LLB, aspirant should have passed two-year Intermediate Examination (10+2 format) with minimum 45% aggregate marks or any other examination recognised as equivalent by the University related or by Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana.

Exam Format for TS LAWCET 2018

Exam format for TS LAWCET 2018 is at the discretion of TSCHE and is subject to changes year by year. Only a little guidance about Exam format and syllabus is given. However, it is notable that TSCHE does not recommend any direct syllabus for TS LAWCET 2018.

  • There is no provision of negative marking in TS LAWCET 2018.
  • Part B consists of 30 questions on the topic Present Affairs
  • Part A consists of 30 questions on the topic General Knowledge and Mental Ability.
  • The Test consists of three parts. The total number of questions will be 120 and the time allotted to aspirants for a test is 90 minutes.
  • Part C consists of 60 questions Aptitude for the Study of Law.
