Sharda University Admission Test (SUAT) 2018

SUAT 2017- Sharda University Admission Test is organizeed by Sharda University each year. It is a gateway to courses such as B.Tech., BCA, MCA, B.Tech., MBA, Journalism & Mass Communication & Design, Integrated Law, BA (Hons) & B.Sc.

Registrations for more than 180 courses at Sharda University have already begun. Aspirants can also book an exam slot against a fee payment of INR 1,200. The last date to fill Sharda University Application Form 2017 is April 28, 2017.

One must fulfil SUAT 2017 Eligibility Criteria before applying. To apply for an Undergraduate course, the participant must pass class XII. To apply for a Post-graduate course, an aspirant must hold Bachelor’s degree.

It will be an online exam, with a total of 100 questions. All questions in SUAT will be objective type, with 4 alternate responses. SUAT assesses Problem Solving skills, Analytical Skills and Language Proficiency of the aspirants.

Eligibility Criteria for SUAT 2018

The basic eligibility criteria for appearing in SUAT 2017 (for Under Graduate courses) is passing class 12th pass from any of the recognised boards in India. For Post Graduate courses, a participant must hold a Bachelor’s degree.

Participants must be minimum 17 years until December 31 of the academic year to which they want admission. The course-wise eligibility criteria for Sharda University is given below: Indian/ NRI/ International aspirants are also applicable to apply for SUAT 2017.

Application Form of SUAT 2018

Application form of SUAT 2017 can be filled and submitted via online method only. After the successful completion of the online application procedure, a unique ID and password will be generated that will be used via out the admission procedure. 

Steps to fill SUAT 2018 Application Form

  1. Visit the official website of Sharda University Website i.e. suat.sharda.ac.in
  2. Read details about the exam and application procedure
  3. Click on ‘Apply for SUAT’ link
  4. Choose course & fill individual information in SUAT application form
  5. Pay test fee of INR 1200/-
  6. Book slot for SUAT 2017

What after registration is clear?

1. Once the aspirant has filled the Online registration/ enquiry form, they will receive a mail from Sharda University containing booking link, user-id/system-id & password.

2. By using above credentials, the aspirant will log in and book the exam slot of their choice by selecting the following:

  • Exam State
  • Exam City
  • Time Slot
  • Test Date
  • Exam Centre

3. Download and take a printout of SUAT Hall Ticket 2017.

4. Aspirant reports at the centre on their selected date & time with a copy of the admit card (passport size photo affixed) and any Govt. allowed photo-ID card.

5. Center verifies the aspirants based on admit card, photo ID card & Attendance Roster for that centre.

6. Center takes the aspirant’s signature on Attendance roster and helps the aspirants to log in & start their exam.

7. Aspirant takes up their exam at centre.

8. The result will be sent to Sharda University after the examination cycle gets finished.

9. Successful aspirants will be called for Individual Interview to Sharda University campus/ regional offices.


Exam Centers of SUAT 2018

There are a total of 58 test centres across India that will be holding SUAT 2017. These centres are situated in states/ cities viz. Hyderabad, Vishakhapatnam, Guwahati, Patna, Delhi, Surat, Rajkot etc. Sharda University is the organizing body of SUAT.

The selection of SUAT 2017 Exam Center will be made at the time of application form filling. Aspirants can choose any of the mentioned test centres as per their preference. It is mandatory to carry SUAT Hall Ticket 2017, along with a photo ID to the exam centre.


Hall Ticket of SUAT 2018

Sharda University will issue SUAT hall ticket to aspirants who have registered successfully. The University will then send the confirmation page to ATTEST Centre. In order to book a slot, Unique ID and Password of the aspirant will be required. By using it, aspirants will be able to book an examination slot. Subsequently, ATTEST will activate the OEBS (Online Examination Booking System).

Aspirants need to download SUAT Hall Ticket 2017 from the official website and carry 2 copy of it on the examination day. In addition, the participants must also carry 1 photo identity proof and fee receipt. Without any of these documents, he will not be permitted to write the exam.


Exam Format of SUAT 2018

SUAT 2017 is an online entrance examination. It will be organizeed to analyze an aspirant’s problem-solving ability, language proficiency and analytical skills. The question paper will be objective type in nature with 90 questions in all.

30 questions will be asked from each section (i.e. PCM). The time period for this exam will be 2 hours. In Sharda University Admission Test, there is no provision for negative marking.

There are various sections in SUAT for various branches. Aspirant required to secure minimum 35% marks to qualify SUAT. The various sections are:

Post Graduate: General Awareness, Logical Reasoning & Quantitative Aptitude.

UG (Bio): English Communication, General Aptitude, Physics, Biology & Chemistry.

UG (Non-PCM): General Awareness, English Communication, Logical Reasoning & Critical Thinking & Quantitative Aptitude.

UG (PCM): English Communication, General Aptitude, Physics, Maths & Chemistry.


Result of SUAT 2018 

Sharda University will declare the results on their official page in the month of June 2017. Participants can download results from official page. SUAT rank cards will also be available, describing the rank obtained in the entrance test.

Participants required to follow below steps to download their SUAT Result 2017 from the official page: 

  1. Log on to the official website of Sharda University i.e. suat.sharda.ac.in
  2. Find the link for SUAT Admission Test 2017
  3. Click on the "Test Results 2017" link
  4. Enter application ID and password
  5. Results PDF will be available on the screen

Selection Procedure of SUAT 2018 

The selection of aspirants will be on the basis of their entrance test performance. Successful aspirants will be called for Individual Interview and Group Discussion (in case of MBA aspirants). So, all aspirants required to prepare for the exam as per the Sharda University Admission Test Syllabus to fetch a seat. PI and GD rounds will be organizeed in SU campus/ regional offices. Final selection will be done on the basis of aspirant’s score in admission test, PI and GD combined.
