Karnataka PGCET (Karnataka PG Common Entrance Test) online Application form is going to be announced on May 19, 2018. The last date to apply for K PGCET 2018 is in the last week of July 2018. The Karnataka PGCET Hall Ticket will be available for all the successful aspirants on the official website of Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) from the fourth week of June 2018.
Karnataka PGCET is organized for admissions to full-time or part-time Master’s Degree courses. The exam will be held for 150 minutes and there will be Objective Type Multiple choice questions for 4 sections. Aspirants applying for Karnataka PGCET 2018 are applicable if he/she passes recognised Bachelor’s Degree of at least 3 years’ period or an equivalent degree. Karnataka PGCET 2018 exam will be held in paper-pen method i.e. aspirants have to mark their responses in OMR Sheet. It is held by Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA).
The examination is scheduled to be organized on July 8, 2018. Qualified aspirants have to attend Karnataka PGCET Counseling procedure along with the need documents. The Karnataka PGCET Results is to be declared in the last week of July 2018. Those who qualify in Karnataka PGCET 2018 will make it to the merit list.

Aspirants applying for MBA will be applicable in following conditions:
Lateral entry to second year MCA course: A Bachelor’s Degree of at least of 3 years’ period examination in BCA, B.Sc. (I.T. / Computer Science) with Mathematics at 10 + 2 level or at Graduate Level with an aggregate at least of 50% marks (general category) or 45% marks (for SC/ST and Category I of Karnataka aspirants)

Karnataka PGCET Application Form is to be filled in 2 phases. In the first phase of KPGCET Application, the aspirant will register and then enter individual details, study details and upload the need documents. After receiving Application ID and Password on the email id offered, the aspirant will again upload the documents and pay the application fee in the second phase of Karnataka PGCET 2018 Application Procedure.
Along with individual details, contact details and education and work details, the aspirant will have to upload the scanned copy of passport size photograph, signatures, left-hand thumb impression and parent’s signatures. Thereafter, in the second phase, a recent passport size photograph must be uploaded separately in the second phase before generating challan to pay the application fee.
Aspirants have to take the printout of the application form on A-4 Size sheet of paper. Affix aspirant’s recent Passport size Photograph, signature, Left Hand Thumb Impression on the space offered. Afterwards, students have to obtain Principal seal and signature from the college where they have studied Final Year Diploma on the space offered in the printed form. The same copy should be produced during document verification along with the copy of the Challan (KEA copy).
The application fee for PGCET 2018 can be paid offline by generating an e-challan after the successful completion of Karnataka PGCET 2018 Application form. General category aspirants will pay INR 650 while reserved category aspirants will pay INR 500. Aspirants will have to take print out of the challan and visit the disciplines of the banks specified.

Reservation for aspirants belonging to the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes of citizens has been made. Aspirants belonging to these categories must produce “Caste Certificate / Caste Income Certificate” allowed by the related Jurisdictional Tahsildar in accordance with the Government order in Form ‘D’ in case of Scheduled Castes & Scheduled Tribes; in Form ‘E’ in case of Category-I; in Form ‘F’ in case of Other Backward Classes like 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B in support of the claim is compulsory for selecting a seat under reserved category.
Aspirants must note that reservation is confined to the aspirants belonging to Karnataka State. In case no applicable aspirants claim the seat, it will be transferred to general category during casual vacancy round seat selection.
Karnataka PGCET 2018 examination results will be declared in the third week of July 2018. Here are some important points that must be kept in mind concerned with the results of this examination: Aspirants who score well and complete the qualifying marks ascertained by KEA will make it to the merit list.
GATE score of 2016 and 2018 will be valid for three 3 years only from the date of releasement of the result. Tech. If the GATE score is above the qualifying marks, aspirant shall be applicable to apply for M.E. /M. courses.
GATE score shall be considered valid if it is equal or above the score decided as qualifying marks. An aspirant with the lesser score than the qualifying marks will have to appear for PGCET 2018 examination.
Aspirants must mention either their PGCET number or computer generated application serial number along with clear postal address and phone number for all future correspondence with KEA.

The steps to check Karnataka PGCET 2018 results are:
Merit list will be prepared with the names of those aspirants who will successfully qualify for the qualifying marks predefined by the Karnataka Examinations Authority for PGCET 2018 examination. The merit of the aspirant will be determined separately for each course (MBA and MCA) only on the basis of marks obtained by aspirants in the PG Common Entrance Test 2018. The merit list shall not comprise qualifying exam’s marks as it is necessary for application procedure only.
If the merit of two aspirants is same, inter se merit shall be determined on the basis of the marks that aspirants possess in the qualifying examination. One with higher marks will be given preference. If there is still any clashes, age will be considered and aspirant who is elder will be preferred.
For M.E. / M. Tech/ M. All non-GATE aspirants will have to appear for K PGCET 2018. Sponsored aspirants shall be preferred on the basis of their employment in government organization/ public sector/ private organization. Arch courses, GATE aspirants’ merit list will be prepared on the basis of GATE valid score.
