Jagannath University Entrance Exam (JUEE) 2018

JUEE 2018, designated as Jagannath University Entrance Examination is organizeed by the University. Via this test, aspirants can get admission into different undergraduate and postgraduate courses being provideed at its campuses.

  • JUEE 2018 is to be held thrice in a year, starting from mid-April 2018.
  • The result will also be made available on the official website of the University, aspirants who complete a at least cut off will be called for Interview and Counseling procedure.
  • Aspirants can appear for JUEE 2018 in either Delhi or Jaipur Campus of University.
  • Participants required to have an at least score in earlier courses they have studied, to be applicable to appear in the exam.
  • JUEE 2018 Application Form and JUEE 2018 Admit card will be made available on the official website of Jagannath University.
  • Aspirants who do not appear in the counseling or interview procedure will not be given admission.

Exam Dates of JUEE 2018

JUEE 2018 is expected to be held three times in the year 2018, similar to the year 2017. The application forms and Hall Tickets will be made available accordingly.

Eligibility for JUEE 2018

JUEE 2018 Eligibility differs for each course provideed by Jagannath University. Therefore, the eligibility requirements for all the B.Tech courses will vary. However, the university has set eligibility criteria for different courses.

Application forms of inapplicable aspirants will be rejected by the university. However, some generalized details of eligibility criteria for various courses are as follows:-

  • If aspirants are applying for the Postgraduate course, then at least score for General category students in Graduation must be 50%. This score for other category students is 45%.
  • There may be some additional qualifications needed by the University for some Courses. For example, for B.Arch course, the aspirant must be NATA qualified.
  • Aspirants applying for Doctorate program must have scored minimum 55% marks in post graduation.
  • If aspirants are applying for an undergraduate course, score in Class 12 must be above 45% for General category students. This score for SC/SC and other aspirants may vary from 40 to 42%.

Application Form of JUEE 2018

Application forms for JUEE 2018 will be announced accordingly for each phase. Note that application forms can be filled in both, online as well as offline mode. To obtain online application forms, participants will need to visit the official website, while offline forms can be obtained from the campus of Jagannath University in Chaksu and Sitapur. The detailed application procedure has been given below:

Online Mode

Aspirants can perform the following steps to fill JUEE 2018 Application Form:

  • Next, make payment and after this the form is clear.
  • Now click on – ‘Apply Online.’
  • Now the application form will open. Aspirants required to fill and upload all the details and then click on ‘Proceed to Pay.’
  • On the Home page, click on the link ‘JUEE 2018.’
  • Aspirants are advised to take a printout of the submitted form for future reference.
  • This will redirect aspirant to JUEE 2018 official link.
  • Access the official website of Jagannath University- http://www.jagannathuniversity.org.

Note: Application Fee for JUEE 2018 B.Tech program is INR 500, whereas, those applying for PhD courses must pay INR 1200.

Offline Mode

To obtain JUEE 2018 Application Fee through offline mode, aspirants must visit the Chaksu campus or Sitapur campus and make payment of INR 500 (INR 1200 for PhD programs) in the form of a demand draft drawn in favour of “Jagannath University” payable at Jaipur.

  • Obtain the application form from the campus or official website.
  • Attach the clearly filled application form along with the demand draft of need amount.
  • Fill in the need details such as individual details, academic details and contact details.
  • Send the application form, demand draft and the following documents at the given address. The documents need must be attested, following is the list of documents:
  1. Photocopy and Mark sheet of the academic qualification documents
  2. Photocopy of test scorecard
  3. Two passport size coloured photographs

JUEE 2018 Hall Ticket

JUEE 2018 Hall Ticket will be available a week or two before the exam, for each phase. Aspirants can download the Hall Ticket from the official website of Jagannath University.

Here are some important details about JUEE 2018 Hall Ticket:

  • The only way to get hall ticket for JUEE 2018 is via the official website. Hall Tickets will not be sent or mailed to any aspirant.
  • Aspirants required to carry minimum one coloured passport sized photo along with the Admit card, for verification in the exam hall.
  • Aspirants are advised to take minimum two coloured copies of Hall Ticket, for examination purpose as well as for future reference.

The steps to download JUEE 2018 Hall Ticket are:

  • Download it and take a printout of hall ticket for future assistance.
  • JUEE 2018 Hall Ticket will be displayed on the screen.
  • Click on the ‘Download JUEE 2018 Hall Ticket’.
  • The hall ticket will be available for an aspirant on the official website.
  • Aspirants must preserve their hall ticket till the admission procedure not over.

Exam Center of JUEE 2018 

JUEE 2018 will be organizeed at two exam centres. Exam Centers for JUEE 2018 are situated at University’s Jaipur and Delhi Campus.

Aspirants can mention their preference for the centre in the application form. Exam centre once allotted to aspirant will not be changed under any circumstances. Here are the details of both the exam centres:

Exam Format of JUEE 2018 

Aspirants who seeking to enrol for the admission of undergraduate courses and postgraduate courses of Jagannath University they must start preparation prior one month before the exam at-least and go via the exam format and syllabus of the exam.

Jagannath University entrance exam question papers consist of 3 sections mainly physics, chemistry and Maths. Most of the questions in the exam are of objective type i.e., one has to choose one accurate option among the others. The exam format for JUEE 2018 is as follows:

Result of JUEE 2018 

JUEE 2018 Results are expected to announce in the last week of June 2018. Results for JUEE 2018 will be made available on the official website.

Aspirants who end up qualifying the at least cut off scores will be called for Interview or Counselling procedure, depending upon the course which they have opted. However, for regular updates, aspirants are advised to keep on visiting the official website. Aspirants shortlisted for counselling will be informed individually.

Steps to check JUEE 2018 Results:

  • Check and Download the results as need
  • Visit the official site of JUEE 2018
  • Click on the tab for JUEE 2018 Result
  • Scorecard of JUEE 2018 would be displayed on the screen.
  • Enter login credentials such as Roll Number, Date of Birth

Counseling of JUEE 2018 

As mentioned above, aspirants who will complete an at least cut off will be called for Counseling or Interview. Selection of Aspirants will happen on the basis of following grounds:

  • Score in JUEE 2018 or qualifying exam
  • Scores in Class 10/12/Graduation (as eligible)
  • Interview or Group discussion (if eligible)

It is notable that no aspirant will be given admission if he/she does not appear in the counseling procedure. Aspirants are advised not to forget carrying following documents while going for counselling procedure:

  • Migration or Transfer Certificate of Aspirant from earlier board/university studied.
  • Degree certificate or Detailed Marks certificate of Graduation or Post Graduation (if eligible)
  • Colored Passport sized pictures of aspirant
  • Detailed Marks certificates of Class 10 and 12
  • Other legal documents such as Income Proof, Category certificate etc.
  • Scorecard and Hall Ticket of JUEE 2018 or Qualifying exam
