JNUEE 2018 will be organized tentatively in December 2017. JNUEE (Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Examination) is organized every year by the JNU (Jawaharlal Nehru University) via which deserving aspirants get admission into the several UG, Post Graduate and doctoral programs provided by the university. Aspirants who are interested in pursuing at JNU must appear for JNUEE 2018.

Here are some important things that aspirants should know about JNUEE 2018:

  • After the viva-voce, a merit list will be published by JNU.
  • The result of JNUEE 2018 will be released on the official website of the university in the second week of January 2018.

Eligibility Criteria for JNUEE 2018

The eligibility criteria of JNUEE 2018 is various for various programs. Aspirants will be allowed to appear for JNUEE 2018 only if they are applicable for the program in which they seeking to take admission. Before filling the application form, aspirants must ensure that they satisfy all the eligibility conditions for the entrance examination.

The eligibility criteria for the most famous courses of JNU are listed below:

For B.A (Hons) 1st year

  • Aspirants who will be appearing in 10+2 examination can also apply.
  • Aspirants must have passed their 10+2 examination with a at least of 45% marks.

For B.A (Hons) 2nd year

Aspirants must have qualified the 1st year of bachelor’s degree from a recognised university with minimum 45% marks.

For MA

Aspirants must have a bachelor’s degree in any stream with a at least of 50% marks under the 10+2+3 education format.

For M.Phil and Ph.D

Aspirants must have a master’s degree in the concerned subject with a at least of 50% marks.

For MCA

Aspirants must have a bachelor’s degree (BCA/B.Tech) with Mathematics at graduate or 10+2 level with a at least of 55% marks.

For M.Sc (Life Sciences)

Aspirants must have a bachelor’s degree in physical, biological or agricultural sciences with a at least of 55% marks under the 10+2+3 education format.

JNUEE Application Form 2018

Aspirants can fill JNUEE 2018 application form in both online and offline mode. The offline application forms will be available by post. Aspirants can find the online application form on the official website of the university from the third week of October 2017. Here are some guidelines for completing the application procedure of JNUEE 2018:

  • Aspirants required to submit the offline application form through speed post/registered post to the following address:
  • Aspirants required to upload their scanned photograph and signature while filling the online application form.
  • Aspirants can pay the application fee via debit card/credit card/internet banking or e-Challan of SBI bank.
  • The size of the photograph should be 20-50 KB. The size of the signature should be 10-20 KB.
  • Aspirants can select a maximum of 3 fields of study in a single form such as MA/MCA/M.Sc.
  • Aspirants must be very careful while filling JNUEE 2018 application form. Forms with incorrect details will be cancelled by the organizeing authority.
  • After submitting the online application form, aspirants must take a printout of the confirmation page for future use.

The application fee for JNUEE 2018 is non-refundable.

JNUEE Hall Ticket 2018

Aspirants who have applied for JNUEE 2018 before the last date can download their JNUEE 2018 hall ticket from the official website of the university. Aspirants must take a printout of the hall ticket and carry it with them to the exam center on the day of the examination. JNUEE 2018 hall ticket will be uploaded by the university on their official website in the fourth week of November 2017.

If aspirants fail to show their JNUEE 2018 hall ticket to the examiner, they will not be allowed to give the examination. The steps to download JNUEE 2018 hall ticket is listed below:

  • Download the hall ticket and take a printout of it.
  • Your JNUEE 2018 hall ticket will appear on the computer screen.
  • The hall ticket will contain important details such as name of aspirant, the name and address of exam center, date and time of examination, etc.
  • Click on the link that says “JNUEE 2018 hall ticket”.
  • Verify if all the details mentioned on your JNUEE 2018 hall ticket is correct.
  • Click on the “submit” button.
  • In case of any discrepancy, aspirants must immediately contact the university to avoid problems on the day of the examination. Aspirants can send an email at helpdesk@admissions.jnu.ac.in.
  • Enter your application number and date of birth.
  • Visit the official website of JNU (www.jnu.ac.in).

Aspirants must keep the hall ticket safely with them till the procedure of admission is over.

Exam Center for JNUEE 2018

There are total 54 examination centers for JNUEE 2018. There is one overseas exam center in Kathmandu. JNUEE is held in 53 towns and cities of India. The exam center will be completely mentioned on the hall ticket of aspirants. During filling the application form, aspirants can select their choice of exam center.

Exam Format for JNUEE 2018

Syllabus of JNUEE 2018

The syllabus of JNUEE 2018 is various for the different courses of JNU. It is important for aspirants to know the syllabus so that they can prepare well for the entrance examination. The syllabus will depend on the program that aspirants have chosen.

Aspirants will get the detailed JNUEE syllabus for all programs in the official website of JNU (www.jnu.ac.in). Basically, the syllabus of a particular program will comprise the topics of the last qualifying examination. For example, if aspirants have chosen M.Sc in Botany, he has to study all the topics of B.Sc in Botany.

JNUEE Result 2018

Aspirants can check JNUEE 2018 result from the official website of JNU. The result will be declared only via the online method in the second week of January 2018. The steps to check JNUEE 2018 results are listed below:

  • Your JNUEE 2018 result will appear on your computer screen.
  • Visit the official website of JNU (www.jnu.ac.in).
  • Click on the link that says “JNU Entrance Examination Results 2018-19”.
  •  Select your program of study, field of study and your application number.
  • Click on “search” button.

Aspirants who will qualify the entrance examination will be called for the next round of selection which is viva-voce. After viva-voce, a merit list will be published by JNU for aspirants of all categories for each program of study. 

Cut Off for JNUEE 2018

JNUEE 2018 cut off marks is various for aspirants under various categories. Cut off marks is the at least marks that aspirants have to score for qualifying in the entrance examination. JNUEE 2018 cut off marks is listed in the table below:

JNUEE 2018 Counseling

After the viva-voce, the final merit list is published by JNU. Admission of aspirants will be clearly based on the final merit list. Therefore, aspirants required to perform well in the viva-vice too. JNU will prepare the final merit list on the basis of the performance of aspirants in the entrance examination and the viva-voce.

Registrations for admissions in JNU will start tentatively from the third week of February 2018. Aspirants required to bring their original documents on the day of admission. The documents that aspirants required to carry with them are listed below:
