JEMAT 2018 Application Form, Eligibility, Exam Date, Syllabus

JEMAT 2018 (Joint Entrance Management Aptitude Test 2018) is a test organized by the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal. This is a screening for candidates wants admissions into different MBA/ Post-Graduate Diploma/MHA courses provided by the participating institutes.

  • Along with the application, the aspirant must pay the requisite application form fee in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favor of ‘WBUT-JEMAT’ payable at Kolkata.
  • 1 mark is honored for every right answer and 0.25 marks are deducted for every wrong response.
  • JEMAT is 100-mark test organized for 2 hours.
  • Aspirants can visit the official website and fill up the JEMAT Application Form. Aspirants also required to upload photograph and signature in a specified pattern.
  • There are three sections, namely, English, Mathematics, and Logical Reasoning.
  • The application, DD, and copies of other necessary documents must be sent to the University through the post.
  • Aspirants must download JEMAT 2018 Hall Ticket from the website as this will not be sent through post or other means.

JEMAT Results 2018 will be declared on the official website. Aspirants can view and download their JEMAT 2018 Score Card by entering their application number and password. Aspirants must attend the counseling session with all the need documents to clear the admission procedure.

Eligibility Criteria for JEEMAT 2018

Participants must go via JEMAT 2018 Eligibility Criteria given below cautiously. Aspirants who do not meet all the JEMAT 2018 eligibility criteria shall be disqualified.

  • The aspirant must have finished Undergraduate degree from any recognised University.
  • They should have secured an at least of 50% aggregate marks in their undergraduate program.
  • Candidates in their final year of Graduation are also applicable to apply. However, they must offer the final year mark sheet at the time of admission.

JEEMAT 2018 How to Apply?

Aspirants can apply for JEMAT 2018 in online method only. The last date to apply is July 7, 2018. They can follow the below steps to apply for JEMAT 2018: -

  • JEMAT 2018 Application fee is INR 600/- for General/OBC category aspirants and INR 300/- for SC/ST category aspirants.
  • Upon successful submission of the application, an application number is generated. This application is also sent through email and SMS to the registered email ID and mobile number.
  • Participants must take a print out of the filled application and send it along with the DD to the address given below. Along with the application and DD, aspirants are requested to send attested copies of 10th mark sheet, 12th mark sheets, and government approved unique photo ID and other certificates.
  • Visit the official website.
  • Aspirants have to read the ‘Notice’ allowed cautiously and check if they fulfill all the need eligibility criteria.
  • Aspirants must then proceed to cautiously fill in all the details that are asked in the application form. It must be noted that there is no scope for modifications in the details given once the application is submitted.
  • They must have high quality scanned images of their passport size photograph (20kb-100kb, .jpg pattern) and signature (20kb-100kb, .jpg pattern) before starting the application process.

Application Fee for JEEMAT 2018

Aspirants have to pay the requisite JEMAT 2018 Application Fee to clear the application process. Payment of application fee can only be done through Demand Draft drawn in favor of ‘WBUT-JEMAT’ payable at Kolkata.

JEMAT Hall Ticket 2018

JEMAT 2018 Hall Ticket will be available on the official website from July 10, 2018. Aspirants must download Hall Ticket online and this will not be sent to aspirants through post or email.

JEMAT 2018 Admit Card is a compulsory document and aspirants who fail to bring their Hall Ticket to the examination center shall not be allowed to enter the examination hall.

Exam Format for JEEMAT 2018

There are three sections that constitute JEMAT, namely English, Mathematics and Logical Reasoning.

  • Every wrong answer attracts a negative making of 0.25.
  • The total period of the examination is 2 hours.
  • English and Mathematics section includes 40 questions each while the logical reasoning section includes 20 questions.
  • Each question is worth 1 mark.

JEMAT Result 2018

JEMAT 2018 Results will be declared in the official website within 1 week of completion of the examination. It is scheduled to be declared around July 21, 2018. The steps to check JEMAT 2018 Result are given below:

  • Click on the “JEMAT 2018 Results”.
  • Go to the official website.
  • Take a printout of “JEMAT 2018 Score Card” for future reference.
  • View and download “JEMAT 2018 Score Card”.
  • Enter your Application Number and Password.

Counseling of JEEMAT 2018

Aspirants who score above or equal to qualifying marks in JEMAT 2018 will be called for the counseling procedure. They must produce the following documents at the time of reporting for JEMAT 2018 Counseling: -

  1. JEMAT 2018 Hall Ticket
  2. JEMAT 2018 Score Card
  3. 10th Mark sheet (as proof of Date of Birth)
  4. 12th Mark sheet
