To score well in the exam, it is essential for the aspirants to know the syllabus for JEE Main. Paper 1 will have 90 questions of 4 marks each. Each subject will have 30 questions. The exam will have questions from the Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics syllabus of class XI and XII, as prescribed by CBSE.

Paper 2 will be for those aspirants who wish to secure admission in B.Arch and B.Planning. This paper will also have 2 drawing questions for 70 marks.

The syllabus for JEE Main is set separately for Paper-1 (B.E/B.Tech) and Paper-2 (B.Arch). Till now, there is no update regarding any change in exam format and syllabus.

Paper 2 is only for those aspirants who wish to pursue B.Arch and B.Planning. It will be included in 3 sections: The paper will be of 3 hours and it will be organized only in the offline method.

  • NOTE: The entrance exam fee for JEE paper I Offline examination is Rs.1000/- for boys and Rs.500/- for Girls belonging to General and OBC Categories. For SC/ST/PWD categories, the fee for boys is Rs.500/- and for girls is Rs.500/-. In case the candidates apply for the computer based examination then the fee for boys from General and OBC groups are is Rs.500/- and for girls is Rs.250/-.
