JEE Main Result is released separately for Paper 1 and Paper 2 at www.cbseresults.nic.in.The JEE Main Result 2018 date for Paper 1 is April 28, 2018 while the result for Paper 2 is expected to be announced in May. The qualifying marks in the form of JEE Main Cut Off will be mentioned on the scorecard.

CBSE will declare JEE Main Results in April at www.cbseresults.nic.in. The link is also offered on the home page of www.jeemain.nic.in. Steps to check JEE Main Result and downloading the scorecard are mentioned below:
Students with valid JEE Main score card can apply for admission via Counseling.
Merit list will be declared at the time of counseling and class 12 marks will not be considered for rank calculation. Formula used for calculating JEE Main score is-
JEE Main Score = 4 marks x number of accurate responses - number of wrong responses x 1 |
The actual scores of aspirants in JEE Main 2018 will be used to calculate the ranks. AIR will be affected straight by the scores obtained in JEE Main i.e. higher the scores, better the rank in JEE Main 2018. In case, two or more aspirants score equal marks, then the tie-breaking rule will be eligible.
In case, aspirants secure same marks then tie-break criteria will be applied on the basis of higher marks obtained in the subjects. If the tie-break doesn’t resolve then the same rank will be issued to aspirants.

Ans. The seat allocation procedure of JEE Main is organized by JoSAA. No. The entire seat allotment and admission procedure of all the participating colleges (22 IITs, ISM, 31 NITs, 20 IIITs and 20 GFTIs) would be managed via centralized JEE Main Counseling.
Ans. A simple 4 step procedure to download the JEE Main scorecard is as follows:
NOTE: The entrance exam fee for JEE paper I Offline examination is Rs.1000/- for boys and Rs.500/- for Girls belonging to General and OBC Categories. For SC/ST/PWD categories, the fee for boys is Rs.500/- and for girls is Rs.500/-. In case the candidates apply for the computer based examination then the fee for boys from General and OBC groups are is Rs.500/- and for girls is Rs.250/-. The candidates from SC/ST/PWD categories will have to pay Rs.250/-, common for both girls and boys.
