Exam Dates of JEE Main 2018

JEE Main offline paper is scheduled for April 8, 2018. The other exam-concerned dates have been announced by CBSE along with the official notification at www.jeemain.nic.in on November 23, 2017. Both the papers of JEE Main will be held in April 2018 in two sessions. JEE Main Registration was open from December 1 at jeemain.nic.in. The exam will be held in 258 exam cities across India and abroad.

CBSE organizes JEE Main every year for admission to BE/BTech/BArch/BPlan. courses in NITs, IIITs, GFTIs, SFTIs, NEUTs, and IITs. The exam is also qualifying examinations for top 2,20,000 aspirants for JEE Advanced.

JEE Main 2018 Registration, Hall Ticket and Exam Dates

The application procedure for JEE Main 2018 is clearly online. Aspirants must enter their application number, security pin and password to download the hall ticket. Check the Eligibility before commencing the registration to avoid mistakes. The exam will be held on multiple dates in April in two sessions- morning and afternoon.

JEE Main 2018 Counseling Dates

JEE Main Counseling will be organized after the releasement of All India Ranks by CBSE. JoSAA will organize a combined counseling session for students qualifying JEE Main and JEE Advanced. Also, two additional rounds will be organized by CSAB for the remaining seats in Union Territories, North-Eastern regions, and 17 participating SFTIs.

  • NOTE: The entrance exam fee for JEE paper I Offline examination is Rs.1000/- for boys and Rs.500/- for Girls belonging to General and OBC Categories. For SC/ST/PWD categories, the fee for boys is Rs.500/- and for girls is Rs.500/-. In case the candidates apply for the computer based examination then the fee for boys from General and OBC groups are is Rs.500/- and for girls is Rs.250/-. The candidates from SC/ST/PWD categories will have to pay Rs.250/-, common for both girls and boys.
