JEE Form 2018 must be filled clearly in one-go, partly filled applications will not be accepted. Steps for making JEE Main Application are-
JEE Main Registration: At the home page of JEE Main, click on Apply Online link and clear the Authentication Form.
Fill the Application Form: Enter method of the exam, exam center, question paper medium, category, mark details of class 10 & 12, communication address and phone number. If ready to apply for both the papers, select the option for ‘both papers’ and pay the application fee accordingly.
Uploading Documents: Upload the scanned photograph and signature. Application forms with uncomplete photograph will be rejected. Keep 6-8 identical photographs in reserve for use at the time of the exam, seat allocation and admission. Aspirants applying from reserved category should obtain caste certificates from designated authorities.
Upload the images in the requisite pattern. After uploading the images, preview them and clear the step of JEE Main Application.
Payment of Fees: Pay the fees after verifying all the details from any one of the methods- online or offline.
Download Acknowledgement Page: Aspirants need to take the printout of Acknowledgement Page and keep it for reference. The Acknowledgement Page does not need to be sent to the JEE (Main) Secretariat.
Note: Submit only one application form. Multiple applications from one aspirant will be rejected.
Successfully registered aspirants can download their JEE Main 2018 hall ticket from the website as per schedule. Aspirants securing qualifying marks will be shortlisted for JEE Advanced.

Fee payment by money order, demand draft, IPO etc. will result in application form rejection. January 2, 2018 is the last date to pay the fee. Application fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. The application fee is mentioned in the table given below:

In case the examination fee is paid by credit/debit card, aspirants will obligatory to pay an additional procedure charge as following:
Check the status of fee payment at the official website and then take the printout of Acknowledgement Page.
Ans. If the fee is paid via e-challan by depositing cash in Syndicate/Canara/ICICI/HDFC bank, the aspirant should contact immediately the related bank to update their fee status on the website. OR
If the fee is paid via credit/debit card and status is not OK, it means the transaction is canceled and the amount will, automatically, be refunded to related credit/debit card within 7 – 10 days. Therefore, such aspirants have to pay the fee once again and ensure the OK fee status.
Ans. In this case, your slot will be decided based on the city of the exam. It will be updated according to the available seats in that particular city.
Ans. No, payment of application fee by DD will not be accepted. If paying offline, you will only have to print the online generated e-challan and pay the fee in cash at Syndicate/Canara/ICICI/HDFC bank.

It should be color or black and white but with complete contrasts with the name of the aspirant and date of taking the photograph printed on it. Spectacles are allowed. It should be without cap or goggles. Polaroid photos are not acceptable.

NOTE: The entrance exam fee for JEE paper I Offline examination is Rs.1000/- for boys and Rs.500/- for Girls belonging to General and OBC Categories. For SC/ST/PWD categories, the fee for boys is Rs.500/- and for girls is Rs.500/-. In case the candidates apply for the computer based examination then the fee for boys from General and OBC groups are is Rs.500/- and for girls is Rs.250/-. The candidates from SC/ST/PWD categories will have to pay Rs.250/-, common for both girls and boys.
