Only those aspirants who have successfully filled the application form will be allotted a hall ticket. Without it, they will not be allowed to appear for the exam. Application forms have been announced on the website and the last date for submission is January 1, 2018.

From this year onwards, the number of aspirants who will qualify to sit in JEE Advanced has been increased to 2,24,000 including all categories. This is a good news for engineering candidates who will appear for JEE Main 2018 but it also indicates that the competition will be tough.

How to Download JEE Main Hall Ticket 2018?

In March 2018, a link to download the hall ticket for JEE Main will be flashed on the home page of the official website. Click on that and proceed to download the hall ticket by following these steps:

  2. Click on ‘Download Hall Ticket of JEE (Main)-2018 (Server 1)’ or ‘Download Hall Ticket of JEE (Main)-2018 (Server 2)’ given at the bottom of the page.
  3. Enter application number, date of birth and the security pin in the offered space.
  1. Those who appeared in Class 12, enter CBSE Board Roll Number as well.
  2. Verify all the details and click on ‘Download Your Hall Ticket’.
  1. Submit the details to view the JEE Main Hall Ticket. Click on download to save the pdf copy and print multiple copies.

What to take along with Hall Ticket?

For aspirants appearing only in Paper 1, JEE Main 2018 hall ticket, the copy of PwD certificate (if eligible) and Government authorized ID Proof will be allowed inside the exam centers. However, those who are also appearing for Paper 2 are advised to bring their own clipboard, pencil, eraser, geometry box set and color pencils/crayons.

Exam Day Instructions

  • The hall ticket is offered on a provisional basis to the aspirant and is subject to his/her satisfying the eligibility conditions.
  • Students will not be allowed inside the exam hall without the hall ticket and ID Proof.
  • Students will be offered Ball pens for the offline examination, so they must not bring any pens with them to the exam center.
  • Do not bring any impermissible items inside the exam hall.

  • NOTE: The entrance exam fee for JEE paper I Offline examination is Rs.1000/- for boys and Rs.500/- for Girls belonging to General and OBC Categories. For SC/ST/PWD categories, the fee for boys is Rs.500/- and for girls is Rs.500/-. In case the candidates apply for the computer based examination then the fee for boys from General and OBC groups are is Rs.500/- and for girls is Rs.250/-.
