IIFT (Indian Institute of Foreign Trade) provides MBA program in International Business via IIFT entrance examination. The exam will be a pen and paper-based test which is scheduled to be held on December 3, 2017. Aspirants who wish to apply for the same has to appear for the IIFT 2018 entrance.

Exam Format in Detail IIFT 2018

IIFT 2018 question paper will be primarily MCQ type. There is a total of 4 sections in the question paper which comprise the following subjects: The total period of the exam is two hours and there is no separate time allocation for the personal section. Important Instructions for IIFT 2018

Before appearing for IIFT 2018 aspirants must know that there are around 124-125 questions in the question paper. The test is very much similar to speed + accuracy basis test. Thus, it is not enough to prepare for a mere preparation which can be eligible for every MBA entrance. You required to prepare separately for IIFT as The Institute of Foreign Trade is one of top 10 B-schools in India.

  • On the contrary to CAT, Reading Comprehension for CAT are directly forward where you can simply attempt 12 questions just by analyzing the question and searching for a response.
  • In case of General Awareness, the questions will cover more present affairs. The cutoff is expected to be around 2-3 marks. So guess work s not advisable for this portion at all. Attempt 6-8 questions accurately if you seeking to complete round-1.
  • Verbal Ability is simpler. If this portion is merged with Reading Comprehension. Emphasize more on the RC portion as it is much scoring. Don’t attempt questions which you are not sure about.
  • Logical Reasoning is another simple and scoring portion where you should attempt more question.
  • The quantitative aptitudes are of more or less easier to a standard level. So start solving the problems from easy to hard.
  • Data Interpretation is assumed to be tough. Just attempt 2 out the 4 questions accordingly and opt out of the portion.
  • You should make a habit of taking mock tests once or twice for every week. This will facilitate you in making familiar with the format and the topics where you are weak and strengthen it.
  • Divide time accordingly for each section so that you can get minimum 8-10 minutes for every section. The easiest section will increase your chances to score more marks.
