Centurion University Entrance Examination (CUEE) 2018

CUEE (Centurion University Entrance Examination) 2018, Centurion University Bhubaneswar organizes a national level entrance exam for admissions into Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) for regular as well as lateral entry along with Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) and Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Agriculture programs.  

  • CUEE will be held in the 2nd or 3rd week of April 2018.
  • Period of the exam is 3 hours.  
  • The test is primarily a multiple-choice type test.
  • Standard of the test is at par with any other equivalent national level entrance test.
  • The result will be declared in the mid-week of May 2018.
  • The exam will consist of objective type questions for 180 marks in the English language.

The examination will be held in the different centres across India.   Apart from Orissa, the exams will be held at the centres in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and Bihar.

Exam Dates of CUEE 2018 

The dates for the examination will be released by the official authority via their website. An advertisement announcing the dates concerned with the examination and application will also be made public via different publications. The examination will be organizeed in the midweeks of April 2018 and aspirants will be able to download the hall ticket a week or two prior to the examination.

Eligibility Criteria of CUEE 2018 

For the examination, the aspirants must be of Indian nationality with the age according to the Government of Orissa norms. The educational eligibility Centurion University is as follows: - The educational eligibility may differ according to the chosen program by the aspirant.

For B.Tech Program

  • 10+2 examination or appearing in 10+2 examination.
  • You should have studied in regular full-time formal education in their schooling/college.
  • The aspirant must have an at least average of 45% marks for general category and 40% marks for the reserved categories.

For Lateral Entry to B.Tech Program

  • The aspirant should have passed in 3 years diploma course in Engineering with minimum an at least average of 50% marks from State Council of Technical Education & Training of any state.
  • The aspirant must have passed or is appearing for bachelor's degree examination (3-year period) in Science from any University of India or UGC recognised college with an at least average of 50% marks with Mathematics at +3 levels.

CUEE Reservation of Seats

Centurion University test, JEE Main and other state entrance tests. Centurion University 2018 will take the admissions as per the quota seats distributed among various categories of aspirants as follows:

  • Reservation of seats for foreign nationals/ PIO/ Children of Indian workers in Gulf countries as per the AICTE norms.
  • 50 % of seats and vacancy in above categories will be filled via CUEE test.
  • 25 seats are reserved for the wards of the CRPF personnel.
  • 25 seats are reserved for the wards of the Indian Navy personnel.
  • All statutory reservation of seats for SC/ ST and other categories will be as per the eligibility rules at the time of admission.
  • Reservation of seats for State JEE Main 2018/ EAMCET and other state tests: 50% seats earmarked for state entrance test rank holders.

Application form of CUEE 2018 

The application form for CUEE 2018 will be available to the aspirants in offline as well as online mode. Aspirants will be able to download the application form from the official website of the University

  1. The online application form can be reached by the aspirant via official website i.e.
  2. The aspirants will have to fill the correct individual as well as educational details in the application form. In the individual details area, the aspirant will have to fill their name, date of birth, residential address, phone number and email ID etc.
  3. Aspirant then will be able to proceed to the next step of application form submission which is paid. The aspirant may choose from the offline and online payment methods available.
    1. Online method - Aspirant may opt for Net Banking/Credit card/Debit card where the aspirant will be directed to a payment gateway to submit the application fees.
    2. Offline method - Aspirant may also opt for the offline mode where a demand draft will be drawn in the favour of CSREM Trust payable at Bhubaneswar.

  1. Download CUEE 2018 Application Form.
  2. The application form can be collected by aspirant from the admission office in the Pokhariput, Paralakhemundi, Jatni and Bhubaneswar campuses of the University.
  3. After, filling of the application form, the aspirant will have to affix a colour passport size photograph on it.
  4. Aspirant will have to pay the application fees of INR 250 (for all aspirants) via a demand draft drawn in the favour of CSREM Trust payable at Bhubaneswar. The name of aspirant, application number and contact number must be written on the backside of the demand draft.

Hall Ticket of CUEE 2018 

The hall ticket for CUEE 2018 can be downloaded by the participants from CUTM website by entering their “Registration Number”.

  • Aspirants will be able to download the hall ticket via the official website of the University i.e.
  • Admit card will be available for download in 1 or 2 weeks prior to the examination in April 2018.
  • Aspirant will be directed to a login page after opting for the ‘download CUEE 2018 examination hall ticket’ on the website’s admission homepage.
  • Admit cards will be allowed to only those aspirants who have successfully submitted the application form and fees.
  • Also, an email will be sent to all registered aspirants containing hall ticket for the examination.
  • The hall ticket will contain important information about the examination centre, roll number, period, date and the time allotted for the examination to the aspirant.
  • Aspirants must ensure to bring the hall ticket in the examination hall, without one they will not be permitted inside the hall.

Syllabus of CUEE 2018 

Syllabus for the examination of CUEE will be relevant to the course aspirants are applying. If participants are for Under Graduate courses then, it needs to revise 10 + 2 subjects of the relevant stream while for Post Graduate courses need to study subjects of 10 + 2 + 3 which are relevant to course applying.

For B.Tech (Regular) 

Aspirants will need to cover the syllabus of 10+2

  1. Physics= 60 marks
  2. Chemistry= 60 marks
  3. Mathematics= 60 marks

For B.Tech (lateral)

  1. Aspirants will need to cover the syllabus of Electrical Engineering= 100 marks
  2. Engineering Mathematics= 100 marks
  3. Mechanics (Strength of Material) = 100 marks

For B.Sc Agriculture

The syllabus will contain the basic 10+2 level

  1. Chemistry= 60 marks
  2. Physics= 60 marks
  3. Biology= 60 marks

Result of CUEE 2018 

The result of the examination will be declared in May 2018. There will be separate lists for the B.Tech, B.Tech lateral and B.Sc agriculture. The aspirants who qualify the at least marks requirement will be applicable to apply for the counseling procedure.

  • The admissions to the B.Tech courses at the Centurion University will be on the basis of the performance of the aspirants in CUEE 2018.
  • The result of the exam will be sent through email and SMS.
  • Aspirants will be informed about their scores and performance in CUEE 2018 exam via the results.

CUEE 2018 Counseling Procedure

CUEE 2018 Counseling and seat allotment will be purely on merit basis i.e. based on the performance in the entrance examination. Counseling will be stopped as soon as all the seats reserved for the Centurion University 2018 are filled up. Aspirants have to attend counseling as per the schedule. Counseling schedule will be published at Centurion University official website on the day of declaration of the result itself.

The counselling will be organizeed in three phases in the centres in Vizag, Vijayawada, Bhubaneswar, Parlakemundi, Rourkela, Balasore and Khammam from mid-weeks of May 2018 to June 2018.

  • Aspirants who qualify for CUEE 2018 exam will be called for the counseling.
  • They must attend the same in person with the fees as well as their original documents for verification.
  • Aspirants who will be allotted seats will have to pay the fees and clear their admissions formalities.

Verification of documents would be done at the time of counseling/ admission. So, as to verify records on identification, age, qualifying examination and category of aspirants. On failing to found accurateness in any of the documents, aspirants will not be considered for admission. Aspirants, called for counseling must bring all original documents and requisite counseling fees as per the list mentioned below:
