CTET Application Form 2018

CTET Application Form 2018 will be tentatively available from March 15, 2018, at ctet.nic.in. The last date to apply for CTET 2018 is March 30, 2018. Aspirants can apply for CTET in online method only.

Aspirants can remit the Application fee for CTET via the online and offline method. Aspirants claiming reservation are offered with the facility of fee exemption. CTET Application Procedure is a 4-step procedure:

  • Filling the CTET Application Form 2018
  • Uploading the photograph and signature 
  • Printing Confirmation Page
  • Paying Application Fee

The application fee for General category is INR 600 for single paper & INR 1000 for both papers. For SC/ST/ PWD category aspirants, it is INR 300 for single paper and INR 500 for both papers.

CTET Application Form 2018 Documents Needs

Aspirants must keep the following documents/ files willing before beginning to fill up the CTET Application Form:

  • Scanned images of latest photograph and signature to be uploaded, according to the following specifications:

  • If an aspirant seekings to pay the examination fee via e-challan, he/ she must download the e-challan after completing Part 2 of Registration Procedure online and then deposit the Fee in CTET Fee A/c at either Syndicate Bank or Canara Bank.
  • After the payment is confirmed by the Bank/ CTET, a confirmation page of CTET Application Form will be generated.
  • If the aspirant seekings to pay the examination fee via Debit/ Credit Card, they should keep the card willing while submitting the CTET 2018 Application Form online. Aspirants also need to check the validity of the card beforehand.

Aspirants do not obligatory to send the hard copy of the confirmation page to the CTET unit. They should retain the hard copy of the CTET 2018 Application form, and the e-challan (if the fee is paid by e-challan) for the subsequent stages of the CTET Selection procedure.

How to Apply for CTET 2018?

The aspirants have to register for the CTET via an online CTET Application Procedure after satisfying CTET Eligibility. They have to undergo a registration and form filling procedure followed by uploading scanned images of photograph and signature. The fee can be remitted in either online or offline. The steps to apply for CTET are as follows: The uploading of documents is followed by fee payment and printing of confirmation page.

Step 1: Filling the Application Form

  • Read the instructions cautiously before filling the CTET Online Application Form.
  • After providing all the need information, click on ‘Next’ or ‘Reset’ button. ‘Next’ button is to proceed to review the page and ‘Reset’ button is to reset all the fields of the CTET Application Form filled by the aspirant.
  • Click on ‘Proceed to Apply Online’ on the bottom of the page, follow the instructions cautiously and fill the CTET Application Form.
  • Visit CTET 2018 official website. 
  • Check all the particulars on the review page. If all the particulars are accurate, click on ‘Final Submit’ else click on ‘Back’ button to change the details and then click on ‘Final Submit’ button on the review page. 
  • Click on the link ‘Apply Online’.

Step 2: Uploading of the Images

  • In Part-2 of the registration procedure, upload the scanned images of latest photograph and signature in the CTET online application form according to the mentioned specification.
  • After the final submission, note down the registration number and proceed to Part 2 of the registration procedure.

Step 3: Payment of the Application Fee

  • If you choose to pay online via Debit Card, enter the Card Number, Validity and CVV Number. 
  • If you pay via Credit Card, enter the Card Number and PIN correctly
  • Post-filling the details, deposit the fee in cash at designated disciplines of Canara Bank or Syndicate Bank. Retain the student’s copy of the challan for future correspondence.
  • If you choose offline payment, download the copy of e-challan from the official website, fill the details given on the challan.
  • In Part-3 of the registration procedure, pay the examination fee via Debit/ Credit Card or via e-challan in the designated accounts of Syndicate Bank or Canara Bank.

Step 4: Printing Confirmation Page

  • After the successful payment of exam fee, a confirmation page will be generated. Print the confirmation page to clear Part-4 of the CTET registration for future reference.

Note: Aspirants should offer their valid Mobile No. and E-mail ID while filling their CTET online application so that the updates/ alerts concerned to CTET may be sent to the registered Mobile Number / E-mail ID.

How to Retrieve CTET 2018 Registration Number?

In case aspirant forgets CTET registration number, it can be retrieved by clicking on ‘Forgot Registration Number?’ This will lead to a page where the aspirant will need to offer the following details: Name, Mother’s Name, Father’s Name, Date of Birth, Category, Paper Applied and the Security Pin (Captcha). Click on Submit after mentioning all the need details. If these details are offered correctly, the registration number can be easily retrieved.
