BUMAT 2018 Exam Format consists 200 objective type questions of 1 mark each, negative marking will not be eligible. Period of the exam will be 2 hours and 30 minutes. The method of the exam will be offline (pen-paper based) and medium of language will be English. The question paper will be divided into four sections:
BUMAT Application Forms will be filled in the month of February 2018 and will continue till May 2018. Admissions to above-mentioned courses will be offered in 7 institutes across India. The total number of seats available in the BBA program is 1020 and that for BCA is 570. BUMAT provides admission to BBA and BCA courses in 7 institutes across India.

BUMAT 2018 eligibility criteria are as set up by Bharati Vidyapeeth University. Given below are the conditions to appear for BUMAT 2018: Aspirants must ensure that they meet eligibility requirements before applying for the exam.
The seats in participating institutes of BUMAT 2018 will be filmed entirely on the basis of merit and there will be no caste based reservation. However, a certain number of seats for defence personnel and foreign students will be reserved.
BUMAT 2018 Application forms will be available online from February 2018. Candidates can log on to the website www.bharatividyapeethuniversity.net or www.bvuniversity.edu.in. The portal for applying for BUMAT 2018 will close in the last week of May 2018. The online application form can be filled up using these easy steps:
Participants must create login credentials by registering for the exam. Click on ‘BUMAT 2018 Registration’ and enter necessary individual details like name, date of birth and email ID. A user ID and password generated by BUMAT will be offered to you upon successful registration.
Log in using the credentials offered to you by BUMAT. Students will then need to fill up the application form. The need information to be filled in the application form is given below:
The next step is to upload scanned images of recent, passport-size photograph and signature of the aspirant. Aspirants must upload the documents as per the specifications are given by the organizing authority.
To clear the application procedure, pay the need application fee using Credit/ Debit card or Net Banking. No other method of payment will be accepted.
After all the above steps are finished, a confirmation form will be generated. Print it out and save it for future reference.
The application forms are also available offline at designated centres as mentioned in the BVU brochure. An application form that is in clear or an application form which is not accompanied by necessary payment will not be considered. The candidate has to ensure that the application has been received by the university from the University office. The fee can be paid in cash or bank draft in any nationalized bank. Clear application form along with payment of entrance fee is to be submitted to CET Office, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune 411030 either in person or via Post/Courier. The form sent by mail must be sent by registered post/ speed post or courier.
Payment of examination fee is an important step in completing BUMAT 2018 Application Procedure. An application form submitted without the payment of entrance fee will be considered in clear and remain unprocedural. The application fee for BUMAT 2018 is INR 1200 for participants of all categories. It should be noted that the entrance test fee is non-refundable.
Application Fee can be paid through online as well as offline mode. It is important to fill the bank challan before submitting application fee via offline mode. Aspirants can pay the fees online via Debit/Credit card and also via Internet Banking. If an aspirant seekings to pay the application fee through offline mode, he/she can do it through cash or bank draft which will be drawn at any nationalized bank or any discipline of Bharati Sahakari Bank Ltd. in favour of ‘The Registrar, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune’, payable at Pune. They must refer to the guidelines, terms and conditions for online payment as given on the website.
Admit cards will be made available by May 28, 2018. BUMAT 2018 Hall Ticket will be dispatched to the aspirants by post. The document will have details about a candidate, such as a roll number and test centre allotted along with the clear address. Admit card is an important document for the exam and no candidate will be granted entry without it.
In case aspirants do not receive hall ticket, they must contact CET Office of Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune, a day prior to the test. In that case, the aspirant must bring 2 copies of the photographs uploaded while registering along with the proof of submission of BUMAT 2018 application form.
The participants must choose the exam centre preferred by them while filling up the application form. They must select the corresponding code of exam centre as given in the brochure. BUMAT 2018 will be organizeed in cities like New Delhi, Navi Mumbai, Pune, Solapur, Bhopal, Jaipur, Lucknow and many others. Candidates can choose from 13 cities that have been hosting the exam for many years. The address and name of the centre will be given on the hall ticket.
BUMAT 2018 aims to assess participant’s ability to understand the subject critically and apply prior knowledge to solve the problems. Candidates will have to mark their answers on an OMR sheet. The exam will be organizeed in offline mode. The medium of language will be English and period of the test will be 150 minutes.
The question paper will consist of a total of 200 objective type problems with 4 alternative answers. Aspirants must choose the most suitable option which he feels is the right response. Each accurate answer will fetch 1 mark and there will be no negative marking. The first 3 sections will consist of 60 questions each while the reading comprehension section will have 20 questions. BUMAT 2018 Exam Format is as follows: The question paper of BUMAT 2018 will consist of 4 sections- Numerical Aptitude, Reasoning/ Logical Aptitude, Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension.

Aspirants problem-solving skills, application of knowledge, time management skills and task-orientation is tested in BUMAT 2018. The syllabus for each section is given below: The level of knowledge is class 12th (10+2) or equivalent qualifying exam.
It will test the candidate’s ability to carry out numerical calculations and work with numbers. Level of the study of Mathematics will be up to 10th class or equivalent. Questions about ratio and proportion, graphs and charts as also data interpretation will be asked.
This section will test the candidate's ability to read between the lines and to see via the situation without getting baffled. Questions based on series, missing links, figures and abstract reasoning will be asked.
It will test the aspirant's knowledge of the English language. Problems pertaining to Synonyms, Antonyms, Vocabulary, Grammar, expressions, phrases and sentence completion will be asked.
This section will assess the aspirant's ability to comprehend passages given and response questions based on it.

BUMAT 2018 result will be declared around June 15, 2018. Separate merit lists will be prepared for Indian and foreign nationals. Merit list will be declared on the official website of the university and will also be displayed in all the participating institutes.

The combined merit list for all the participating institutes will be declared together. The merit list will contain the names of qualified aspirants rank wise. Separate merit list will be created for the Indian nationals and Foreign/NRI/PIO/ Institutional Quota Merit category. It will contain the combined result of both BBA/ BCA programs. Candidates must choose which program they seek admission into at the time of counseling.
The Bharati Vidyapeeth University officials do not announce the cut-off marks and call the qualified aspirants for counseling based on the merit list.
After the declaration of the merit list, qualified aspirants must appear for the BUMAT 2018 Counseling. The counseling procedure will be organizeed by the respective institutes and will start in the 1st week of July 2018. Candidates will be called for counseling as per their rank in the merit list and will be provideed a seat as per availability of the seat in the particular Institute and course.
Since a combined merit list for both programs, BBA/ BCA will be displayed, the candidates can choose the course they wish to pursue at the time of counseling. Hence, aspirants must regularly visit the website for the details about this procedure. The schedule will be uploaded on the official website. The counseling and on the spot admissions session will be held at the respective institutes.
