Undergraduate Entrance Test (UET) organizeed by the Banaras Hindu University every year for admission to different undergraduate courses and branch namely: Arts, Commerce, Social Sciences, Commerce, Education, Science, Education, Law, Sanskrit, Agriculture, etc. The exam will be scheduled to be held around the last week of the April 2018 onwards. It is a national level held entrance which is organizeed across several examination centres in the country. The exam date for various courses will be various.
Interested aspirants can start looking for BHU UET 2018 Application Form on their official website from the first week of February 2018 onwards. The application form filling process will continue for round one month.
Few weeks after the exam gets over the response key will be published following the result. Post the above process will start the counselling procedure and consequently the admission to different colleges enlisted under BHU.

BHU UET 2018 ADMIT CARD will be available on the ‘BHU Entrance Test Portal’ www.bhuonline.in approximately one week prior to the date of commencement of the test. Aspirants will be able to download the hall ticket with the registration ID allotted to them at the time of application form filling. The notifications regarding announce of hall ticket will be sent to through E-mail or SMS alert to aspirants. Thus, the aspirants are advised to offer valid e-mail Id and phone number for communication

BHU UET 2018 will be scheduled to be held at the following Centers across the country.

The entrance will be an offline pen and paper-based test. All the courses will contain 450 marks except B.Sc and Shastri (Hons). However, the maximum time limit set for the entrance is 2 hours. All the questions will be of MCQ type. The questions format will be same for all the courses but the number of questions and allocation of time will vary. Besides, the total number of questions for all section will be 150.

Each question has four alternate options and is allotted 3 marks. The un-attempted question will be honoured zero mark and wrong responses are honoured 1 mark each.

There is no such prescribed syllabus for BHU UET 2018. Candidates should follow the below books for preparation of the entrance. The topic also varies from program to program.

The University has the clear authority to set the at least qualifying marks for various courses and various categories. The Merit list will be prepared on the sum of two: marks obtained in theory and practical tests (optional). The result is considered equivalent to that of the merit list.
The Cut off will be determined as soon as BHU UET 2018 result is declared. The admission will be done on the basis of the cut off marks. The cut off will be evaluated on the following factors: At Least qualifying marks and closing rank of the aspirants.
The University will implement computerized counselling procedure for admissions to all the courses for the educational session 2018-19. The counselling procedure will comprise the following steps:
STEP 1: Online Preference Entry:
Every aspirant will be called for counselling for admission. They need to fill up an online ‘Preference Entry Form’ which will be available online.
Give your order of liking carefully. If any section is established blank, it will be assumed that aspirant has a lack of interest in that option. Admission to Paid Seats will be finished after the regular fee seats are full. Aspirants will be offered another opportunity of editing the entries thereafter. None of the sections of the online preference form should be left blank.
STEP 2: Activity on the Counseling day
Method of remittance of Admission Fee: After the receipt of the provisional admission letter from the Counselling Centre the following options can opt for payment of Admission Fee: Online payment via credit card/ debit card or Payment of Fee in cash at the Fee Counters

NOTE: Application fee for Shastri Hons is INR 200 for general category and INR 100 for SC/ST/PC. If candidate applies for more than one course then application fee is INR 200 for general category and INR 100 for others.
