There is separate selection process via XAT for admission into XLRI, XAMI members & other B-schools. You can apply for more than one course in various institutes, according to that you have to go via various procedure whether it is Group Discussion (GD), PI or Group Practice (GE). After releasement of XAT Scorecard you have to follow the predetermined selection process of XLRI. Check your score after the briefing of the result and apply for further proceedings of GD/PI. Firstly you have to apply for XAT Test.

If you are shortlisted for XLRI programs then you will be communicated personally by the organizing authority.
If you will score well in XAT 2018 entrance, which is about to hold on January 07, 2018. In that case, you may attend the selection process of XAMI members & affiliated institutes. If you are ready to take admission then you may apply separately to XAMI & Associate members.

Ans. XAMI members are the approved colleges who stringently consider the XAT score for admission. These institutes are also the part of exam organizing authority despite other colleges who have only participated in the selection via XAT.

Ans. Some schools consider the score of paper 1 i.e. verbal ability, QA & Judgment making. But XLRI considers the score of both papers. And some other schools consider the score of paper 1& 2 both.
Paper 2: General Awareness, Essay writing.
Ans. There are different other parameters to decide the final selection of aspirant like XAT score, GD, PI, essay writing, past academic records, Work experience & overall profile of the candidate.
In conclusion, the percentile is not the only criteria to take admission.
