Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) was successfully organized by XLRI Jamshedpur on January 7, 2018. Students who appeared for XAT 2018 can download the response key from the official website from January 19 onwards. The expected XAT Cut off for HRM course is 92.55%, 96% for Business Management and 22 marks & above for GMP.
Response key will be available for all sets in PDF pattern. With the help of response key, students can calculate their marks and evaluate their performance. Marking scheme help students to calculate probable marks. For accurate responses, 1 mark will be assign and for wrong responses, 0.25 marks will be deducted.

XAT Paper is divided into two parts i.e. Part 1 and Part 2. Part 1 is further divided into three sections i.e. A, B and C. Questions in part 1 were responseed in 170 minutes and Part B questions were to be responseed in 35 minutes. Section A consists of 24 questions, section B included of 27 questions and Section C had 21 questions.
This section focuses on student’s hold on language and implementation. It tests the student’s critical reasoning skills. Questions in this section were of methodrate difficulty level. This section has 4 reading comprehension passages. According to the student’s reviews, Para-jumble questions were time-consuming.

This section was toughest. So, for completeing this section with good marks, students obligatory a better understanding of concepts. Mostly questions in the paper were of methodrate to difficult.

Marks scored by the students in GK are not added in the final result and merit list. These scores are used for the student’s final selection. There were 25 questions asked in this section and 35 minutes are issueted to clear this section.

XAT cut off marks are the at least marks scored by the aspirant in order to qualify the exam. After the declaration of examination result, XAT Cut off will be announced. On the basis of cut off marks, students will be further shortlisted for Group Discussion, Individual Interview and Essay Writing round.
XAT 2018 cut off will be declared in the first week of February 2018. Along with the participating institutes, cut off marks will also be declared by different coaching institutes. Cut off will be declared section-wise and institute-wise.
