WBJEEB or West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board will organize WBJEE in May 2019. WBJEE 2019 consists of 2 papers, Paper I- Mathematics and Paper II- Physics and Chemistry. It is an offline exam comprising 155 objective type questions. Each paper is divided into three parts namely Category I, Category II and Category III.

The total period of the exam is 4 hours and marking scheme for each category is various which has been mentioned in detail in the article further along with the syllabus and advisable books. WBJEE Syllabus will be based on class 12th physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry.

All aspirants who complete **WBJEE 2019** will be able to seek admission in any one of the participating institutes of WBJEE. These institutes provide undergraduate courses in engineering, pharmacy, and architecture. Almost 1.5 lakh aspirants are expected to appear for WBJEE 2019.

WBJEE 2019 exam will be organized into 2 slots for both the papers. The exam will be of total 200 marks with questions from three subjects namely Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.Paper 1, i.e. Mathematics and Paper 2, i.e. Physics and Chemistry both will be of 2 hours each. The exam will be held in the offline method via OMR sheet.

The question paper will consist of 155 multiple choice questions. There are 3 categories of questions in each paper. The category-wise details are given in the table below.

There are 2 categories in **WBJEE 2019** and each exam will consist of questions from each of the three subjects, i.e. Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The Marking Scheme for each category is different. Check the following details to know about WBJEE marking scheme.

**Category I**

- For every wrong response: -0.25 marks
- For every accurate response: +1 marks

**Category II**

- For every wrong response: -0.25 marks
- For every accurate response: +2 marks

**Category III**

- For every wrong response: 0 marks
- For every accurate response: +2 marks
