VITMEE 2018 will be held in the first week of June 2018. It is organized by VIT University for admission into different postgraduate courses of M.Tech, MCA and integrated Ph.D. programs for the academic year of 2017-2018.
The exam format of VITMEE 2018 will give participants an idea of what to expect in the exam. The details about different aspects concerned to the entrance exam like the type of questions that will be asked in the test, marking scheme, the total number of questions, method of the exam, the time period of the exam, etc. are given in the table that follows:

VITMEE 2018 will be held in the first week of June 2018. The subjects tested in the exam will depend on the technical subject chosen for the specialization course. The test will include of 100 objective type questions to be responses in 120 minutes. The test will include a single paper scheduled to be organized on 2 consecutive days. The student will be honored 1 mark for every accurate response, the maximum obtainable marks being 100. The details about the exam format are explained completely in this article.
Method of exam: VITMEE 2018 is a computer-based test (CBT). The exam will be organized through the online mode. Candidates are expected to know the basic working of computers to attempt the exam.
Duration: All aspirants will be given 2 hours to clear the exam. No extra time will be given to any aspirant.
Language: The test paper will be available in the English language only. It will not be offered in any other language and any request to do so will not be entertained.
Type of Question: The test will have objective type questions. All the questions will be in the form of MCQs. Every question will have 4 alternative options suggested as responses, out of which the student must choose one that seems the most suitable response.
The number of questions: The candidate will need to solve a total of 100 MCQs. The test paper will have 80 questions concerned with the technical subject chosen and 20 questions about English Communication.
The participants must know the marking scheme in order to decide how to attempt the questions in the Post Graduate entrance exam. It is similar to the marking scheme used in VITEEE. No change is expected in the marking scheme and it is the same as it was for the year 2017. The marking scheme of VITMEE 2018 is said as follows:
VIT University has not specified any qualifying marks for VITMEE as such. Participants will be admitted to the different courses based on merit only. A merit list of shortlisted aspirants for respective courses will be declared and these participants must attend VITMEE 2018 Counseling.
The syllabus for VITMEE 2018 is based on the entire syllabus of graduation level in a particular field.
