An equating mode is used for calculating the VITEEE score obtained by all aspirants. This mode is similar to the normalized method. An equal percentile equating mode is used as a statistical process to calculate percentile rank obtained by the entrants. For example, if you score 95 percentile, this means that you are above 95% of the test takers and behind 5% of them.
The equating mode is used as VITEEE is organized in numerous slots. It helps adjust the score in each and every session. The difficulty level of the exam is the same for nearly all the slots. However, to ensure equality among aspirants and that the difficulty level does not affect the performance of any aspirant, this mode is used.
Hence, to examine VITEEE Result 2018, the university will consider the equating methodology. These scores will be taken on various forms to calculate a comparison of the merit list and ranking of the aspirants. It is a statistical model in which balances the performance of all aspirants.
The scores secured by an aspirant in VITEEE 2018 will be used for calculating their personal percentile. Thus, the name of high scorers will be listed at the top and on the lower side will be the name of aspirants who have less percentile. The percentile will be used for making the final VITEEE 2018 merit list. These students will be further called for VITEEE Counseling 2018. All aspirants who qualify the exam and complete the cutoff will be named in VITEEE 2018 Merit List. This merit list will be published in descending order.
VITEEE Cut off 2018 will form the basis to admit qualifying students to various courses. It is compulsory to secure the at least set marks which equal to completing the cutoff, in order to get your name in the merit list. Although VIT University does not declare any cut off of its own, it only declares the opening and closing rank for each discipline. They talk about the at least marks need by an aspirant to save a seat in his choice of course.
VIT University decides VITEEE Cutoff on a number of factors. These factors play a pivotal role in determining the discipline-wise and campus-wise cutoff. All aspirants may not get the course and campus of their choice, however, the preference will be given to the course and campus details requested by the aspirant.
