UPTET 2018 Exam Format will be announced by UPBEB (Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board) and participants will know about the number of questions, syllabus and mark distribution via it.
There will be two papers for UPTET 2018. Paper 1 for aspirants applying for the position of primary level teachers (class 1 to class 5) and Paper 2 for aspirants applying for the position of primary level teachers (class 6 to class 8). Any aspirant who is applying for both the job positions should sit for both the papers.
UPTET (Uttar Pradesh Teachers Eligibility Test) will be organized to appoint applicable aspirants for the posts of teachers at the primary and upper primary level in Government schools of Uttar Pradesh. The exam will be organized in December 2018 for aspiring teachers in the state of Uttar Pradesh.

UPTET 2018 will include 2 papers. There are altogether 150 questions of multiple choice type, carrying 1 mark each and there is no negative marking for wrong questions. Each paper includes 5 sections of various subjects.

UPTET 2018 Paper 1 includes 5 sections of 30 marks each. Each question will score 1 mark and there are no negative marks for inaccurate responses. Total marks distribution for this paper is 150.
UPTET 2018 Paper 2 consists of 150 questions each carrying 1 mark. There is no negative marking. Mathematics and Science section is for Maths and Science teachers whereas Social Science section is for Social Science teachers. 3 sections in the paper include 30 questions each and 1 section will have 60 questions. Other subject teachers may opt any one of them.
