UPSEE Exam Pattern 2019

UPSEE 2019 Exam Format offers details about the paper format which will be announced by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University on its official website. UPSEE 2019 exam will be held in April 2019 and the application form for the same will be made available in the month of February 2019.

The standard for UPSEE 2019 exam will be that of Higher Secondary or equivalent exam for Under Graduate courses and of graduation level for Post Graduate programs. No change in UPSEE 2019 Exam Format is witnessed and is expected to remain same as that for 2017. AKTU will design 11 test papers for admission into different Under Graduate engineering courses. 

The exam will consist of objective questions and the medium of language will be English and Hindi. The total number of questions and maximum marks that aspirants can get very in each exam. Marking scheme of the same has been mentioned further in the article.

UPSEE 2019 is a state level exam that is scheduled to take place in April 2019. It is conducted by the AKTU organized for first-year degree level as also for lateral entry into Engineering, Management, and other programs in different institutes across Uttar Pradesh for the academic year 2019-2020.

Exam Format for UPSEE 2019 in Detail

UPSEE 2019 will involve 11 papers scheduled to be held on 3 days. The maximum scored marks will rely upon the various UPSEE Papers. Participants will be granted +4 marks for each accurate response. The topics and subjects tested in the exam will rely upon the technical subject selected by the participant. The test will involve objective type questions to be responded in 180 minutes.

The clear details about the exam format are explained below:

  • The paper will have objective type questions. All the questions will be in the form of MCQs. Each question will have 4 options out of which the participant obligatory to choose the accurate one.
  • Paper 1, Paper 2, Paper 3 and Paper 4 will be organized in the offline method. Participants should mark their responses on an OMR sheet.
  • Paper 5, Paper 6, Paper 7, Paper 8, Paper 9, Paper 10 and Paper 11 will be organized in the online method.
  • UPSEE 2019 will be directed in online as well as the offline method based on the papers.

UPSEE Marking Scheme 2019

Participants should know the marking scheme in order to choose how to attempt the questions in the entrance examination. It must be noted that although there is no negative marking, a record of the aggregate number of wrong responses of participants will be kept for setting up the merit list. UPSEE 2019 Exam Format – Key Highlights

  • Participants won't be punished for the wrong attempt. But, a record of the wrong attempts given by the participant will be kept up.
  • Participants obligatory to mark their responses on an OMR response sheet against the particular question number.
  • Papers 1, 2, and 3 will be in both English as well as Hindi.
  • The period of UPSEE 2019 will be 3 hours for Paper 1, 2 and 3. But, the testing time for Paper 4 will be 2 hours 30 minutes.
  • In case of Paper 4, participants can select either English or Hindi to response Part B.
  • Participants obligatory to enter the responses on the OMR sheet by utilizing a ballpoint pen (Black or Blue) only. This likewise implies UPSEE 2019 will be held in the offline method.
  • Participants have to select only one choice as the right response. More than one response will be considered as the wrong attempt.
