UPSC invites applications for appointment of Manager Grade-1/section officer’s vacancy. The notification regarding appointment has been announced on the official website of UPSC i.e. upsc.gov.in
Aspirants who are applicable and interested can apply for the vacancy at upsconline.nic.in. The last date to submit the application form is December 2017. The exam will be organizeed in the month of January/ February 2018.
The final selection of the aspirants will be based on the aspirants’ performance collectively in the written exam and interview. Aspirants with scores above the mentioned Cutoff marks will be shortlisted for the interview round.

UPSC provides reservation to aspirants who are Physically Challenged, Handicapped or orthopedically or Cerebral Palsy with one leg affected (Right or Left) or Locomotor Disability or having One arm affected (Right or Left).
The total number of vacancies that are reserved for Manager Grade – I/ Section Officer is 13. These are the permanent posts and aspirants pay scale lies between INR 15600-30,100/- plus Grade pay amount of INR 5400/-.

Aspirants who are shortlisted for Manager Grade – I/ Section Officer required to perform the following duties:
Qualification: Aspirants must possess a degree, diploma/degree in Business Management or Material Management from the recognized university.
Experience: Aspirants must have three years work experience in Administration, Accounts and Founding work in Government Office or Public body or a Commercial Organization of repute.
Desirable Qualification:
Age: Aspirant’s maximum age limit will be 35 years.

The total period to clear the examination is 2 hours carries a maximum of 100 marks. The examination is included of objective type questions with multiple choice responses. All the questions in the examination will carry equal marks.
The test will be organizeed both in Hindi as well as English medium. No marks will be deducted if no response is marked for a question. Aspirants are advised to cautiously attempt the responses because the very wrong response will carry deduction of one-third marks.
