UP B.Ed JEE Notification 2018

UP B.Ed JEE 2018 notification is expected to be announced in the 2nd week of February 2018. The exam is expected to be organized in the 1st week of May 2018.

UP B.Ed. JEE is a state level exam via which aspirants can get admission into B.Ed. courses for further studies. The exam is going to be organized by Lucknow University. A total of 217 B.Ed. colleges will be granted admission to their courses via this exam.

  • B.E. and B.Tech. graduates obligatory to have scored minimum 55% marks in graduation to be applicable for the exam, while graduates of other streams obligatory only 50% to be applicable.
  • The exam will have two paper, paper 1 and paper 2, both of which will have 100 MCQs each. Check UP B.Ed JEE Exam Format
  • The registration procedure will be clearly online, and aspirants will obligatory to upload their photograph and signature in the form.
  • Registrations for the exam will start in March, on the official website www.upbed.nic.in.

UP B.Ed. JEE Application Procedure 2018

The application form for UP B.Ed. is clearly online. Application forms will be available from 2nd week of March 2018 and will continue till 2nd week of April 2018, as said above. General Category aspirants will have to pay INR 1000 as the fee for the exam, while aspirants belonging to SC/ST and OBC categories will have to pay INR 550 as the registration fee.

Aspirants obligatory to know following things about the registration procedure of UP B.Ed. JEE 2018: -

  • Aspirants will obligatory to upload a passport size image (maximum size 50 KB) and signature (maximum size 20 KB).
  • Aspirants will have to first register themselves with basic details, after which they can proceed to fill further details.
  • After this, aspirants will obligatory to make payment, via online method (Net Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card/NEFT/RTGS) or e-challan.
  • After successful completion, aspirants can get the printout of the form. This printout obligatory to be retained as it will be obligatory during admission and counselling.
  • The application forms will be available on the official website of the exam, which is www.upbed.nic.in.

UP B.Ed. JEE 2018 Changes

Since the official notification is yet to come, no comment can be made on the changes which are going to be implemented towards the exam. However, since no news has been received regarding the possible changes in UP B.Ed. JEE 2018, it is very likely that the whole procedure will not witness any major changes.

UP B.Ed. JEE Exam Format 2018

UP B.Ed. JEE 2018 will include two papers, paper 1 and paper 2. Aspirants will have to response objective type questions in both the papers.

Both the papers have the similar structure, where one section in each of the papers will be same and mandatory for all. Take a look at the examination format of both the papers below: -

Paper 1

  • Section B contains questions of a Language subject. Aspirants will have to choose either English or Hindi for this section.
  • Section A is off the subject General Knowledge, which is same and mandatory for all.
  • Both the sections will have 50 multiple choice questions each.
  • A composite time of 3 hours will be given to clear Paper 1.
  • Paper 1 will have two section, Section A, and B.

Paper 2

  • Paper 2 will also have two sections, Section A, and B.
  • Section B is the subject that an aspirant has chosen to specialize in, like Arts, Science, Commerce or Agriculture.
  • Section A is a General Aptitude Section, which will be same across all papers.

Both the sections will have 50 questions each, with the composite time of 3 hours.
