Telangana State LAWCET 2019

TS LAWCET 2019 or Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test 2019 is an annual state-level entrance exam for admission into undergraduate law programs in the state of Telangana. TS LAWCET is convened by Kakatiya University, Warangal on behalf of TSCHE (Telangana State Council for Higher Education), the apex body of Higher Education in the state.

Aspirants must check below the important highlights of the exam.

Eligibility Criteria for TS LAWCET 2019

Telangana State Council for Higher education sets the eligibility criteria for aspirants to appear in TS LAWCET 2019. However, the criteria may vary on the basis of course that an aspirant is opting to get admission in, 3 year LLB course or 5 year LLB course.

Details of TS LAWCET Eligibility Criteria 2019 according to various courses are mentioned below:

Application Form for TS LAWCET 2019

The Online Application form for TS LAWCET 2019 is expected to be available in March 2019 on the official website. The documents that participants obligatory to keep handy during the application form filling procedure are tabulated below:

  2. Click on the ‘Apply Online’ tab.
  3. Fill the details as per the instructions on the form and upload the necessary documents.
  4. Fees for TS LAWCET 2019 can be filled with both online (Credit/ Debit Cards or Net Banking) and offline (via Telangana State Online Centers/Citizen Service Centers).
  5. Recheck details entered and submit the TS LAWCET 2019 Application Form after obtaining a print of the same for future reference.

TS LAWCET 2019 Hall Ticket

Participants who have submitted the Application Form clear in all respects along with the requisite fees will be allowed TS LAWCET 2019 Hall Ticket. The same can be downloaded from the official website, expectedly in May 2019.

TS LAWCET Hall Ticket 2019 will mention details like the participant’s registration number and the center issued for TS LAWCET 2019. The steps involved in downloading the hall ticket are:

  1. Visit the official website of TS LAWCET 2019, i.e. www.lawcet.tsche.ac.in.
  2. Click on ‘Download Admit Card’ tab
  3. Enter Application Number and Date of Birth and click ‘Get Admit Card’ tab.
  4. The Hall Ticket will be displayed on-screen.
  5. Download, save and print the document for future reference.

Please note that the hall ticket is a compulsory document that obligations to be carried by aspirants in person to the exam center.

TS LAWCET Exam Center 2019

Participants can, during the application procedure, select their choice of exam center. The allocation by exam center is done by exam organizing authority on the basis of the aspirant’s preference. However, the authority’s judgment in this regard is final and binding on all.

TS LAWCET Exam Format 2019

TS LAWCET 2019 Exam Format is designed by TSCHE and aims to test aspirants’ ability and aptitude to pursue the study of law. The test will have a total of 120 questions, split into 3 sections. The maximum marks that can be scored in the exam are 120 and the time allowed to clear the test is 90 minutes. The section-wise break-up of questions is tabulated below:

Syllabus for TS LAWCET 2019

TS LAWCET Result 2019

TS LAWCET 2019 Result is expected to be released in June 2019 on the official website of TS LAWCET 2019. A few important points to note about TS LAWCET 2019 Result are:

  • Aspirants will be allowed a short window of 3-4 days to challenge the Response key.
  • Soon after, the final response key will be announced which would be followed by TS LAWCET 2019 Results.
  • Prior to the declaration of the results, TSCHE will announce the preliminary response key for TS LAWCET 2019 in May 2019.

Aspirants can reach their results from the official website with the following steps:

  1. Visit the official website.
  2. Click on ‘TS LAWCET 2019 Results’ tab
  3. Enter Application Number and Date of Birth and click ‘Get Results’ tab.
  4. The Scorecard is displayed on-screen.
  5. Download, save and print the document for future reference.

TSCHE has a preset cut-off score for the counseling procedure. There is no specific relaxation in cut-off for SC/ST aspirants. Aspirants also obligatory to meet the personal cut-off scores announced by the respective colleges in order to secure admission to the programs provided by them. An aspirant has to minimum score 35% in TS LAWCET 2019 in order to be applicable for counseling, the score works out as 42 of 120.

TS LAWCET Counseling 2019

TS LAWCET 2019 counseling schedule is expected to commence in June 2019, post declaration of results. The procedure is clearly online and only aspirants having a valid TS LAWCET rank are applicable to participate in the counseling round. The steps involved in the Online Counseling Procedure are:

  1. Visit the official website of TS LAWCET 2019, i.e. www. lawcet.tsche.ac.in.
  2. Click on ‘Counseling 2019’ tab.
  3. Aspirants obligatory to enter their TS LAWCET admit card number, rank and mobile number as instructed on the webpage.
  4. A list of available courses and colleges is displayed on-screen from which the participants obligatory to select their preferred course and college.
  5. Once aspirants are satisfied with their selections they obligatory to click on the Confirm/Submit button. Aspirants are advised to obtain a print of the selections made in TS LAWCET online counseling procedure.
  6. Upon submission of the options selected by the aspirants, a confirmation SMS will be received on the registered mobile number.
  7. Next, aspirants obligatory to download and print their provisional allocation letter which they obligatory to current for admission.
