TS PGECET Application Form 2018

TS PGECET 2018 Application Form will be available in an online method in the month of March 2018. Aspirants of reserved category only have to pay an amount of INR 400. The application forms are filled for admission to the postgraduate engineering program across the colleges in the state. TS PGECET application fee is INR 800 for all students. TS PGECET application form can only be filled in the online method at home or at TS/AP help centre after the payment of application fee.

The fine of late submission will be applied from the second week of May 2018. At Least fine of INR 500 will be collected and it can go up to INR 10000 if the form is submitted at the end of May 2018.

GATE qualified students have to fill TS PGECET 2018 Application Form, however, they do not need to appear for TS PGECET exam. They will be invited to attend counseling once the exam is over.

Eligibility for TS PGECET 2018

TS PGECET eligibility is defined in the admission brochure. The eligibility criteria are as follows:

Age limit

There is no upper age limit or lower age limit defined for admission to M. Tech program.

Nationality

The aspirant must be an Indian national and must be a resident of the state of Andhra Pradesh or Telangana. The domicile must be furnished at the time of counseling procedure to ensure the nativity details. 85% seats are reserved for the local aspirants. 15% seats are available for other students, who have citizenship of India.

Educational Qualification

The qualifying examination (B.E./B.Tech) must be completed with an at least percentage of 50% marks. Aspirants of reserved category required to secure only 45% marks.


How to fill TS PGECET 2018 Application Form?

The application form can be filled in the online method only. It has a simple 4 step procedure as defined below:

  1. TS PGECET Registration
  2. Payment of application fee
  3. TS PGECET application form filling and uploading documents
  4. Submitting the application form

Step 1: TS PGECET Registration

  1. Go to the official website.
  2. Check for ‘TS PGECET 2018 Application Form.’
  3. Click on the link and this will take you to ‘TS PGECET 2018 Registration’ page.
  4. Offer the details such as name, email id, mobile number, educational qualification, etc. as asked on the page.
  5. Click on “submit” button.
  6. A registration number and password is generated which can be used for logging into the system. This is sent to the registered mobile number and email id.
  7. Note it down and keep it cautiously for future use.

Step 2: Payment of Application Fee

The application fee is INR 800. If the application form is finished and submitted with all the details before the first week of May 2018 then no fine has to be paid. With the increase in delay duration more fee has to be paid with the additional fine.

Payment of fee via AP/TS online centre:

  1. Offer the details of aspirant name, father’s name, mobile number, date of birth, SSC admit card number and month & year of passing SSC.
  2. Pay the amount in cash at the centre and collect a receipt for the payment of the application fee.
  3. Login to fill TS PGECET application form and select the option of payment of application fee at the AP/TS centre.
  4. Enter the transaction number given and click on proceed tab. 

The fee has to be paid via credit/debit card. Steps are as follows:

  1. Log in to the system with the registration number and password generated.
  2. The system will ask you to pay the application fee. Click on the link and this will take you to the payment gateway.
  3. Offer the details of credit/debit card number, CCV and amount to be paid.
  4. Click on submit button. Do not refresh or reload the page at this step.
  5. The system will generate an e-receipt if the payment is accepted successfully.
  6. Download the receipt and note the transaction id.
  7. In case of absence of a transaction, ID mistake pays the fee again.

Step 3: Filling TS PGECET Application Form and Uploading Documents

The aspirant has to upload a scanned copy of a recent passport size photograph and signature. The steps are as follows: The same must be matching the criteria defined.

  1. Go to the official website, log in with the details of the registration number and password.
  2. Change the registration number and password if you do not wish to keep the original ones generated automatically.
  3. Fill the application form. The details to be filled are as follows:
  • Category
  • Local area status
  •   Gender
  • Minority status
  • Mother's name
  • Want admission under special category
  • Aadhar number
  • Exam centre
  1. Fill all the details of the academic qualification from class 4 to graduation. Details of the schooling, year of passing the class, percentage secured and the board has to be supplied with all the classes up to graduation.
  2. Correspondence address: Details of the postal address which will be used for sending letters for communication purpose has to be supplied. This can be a local address or home address of the aspirant.
  3. Exam centre choice: A aspirant can choose 3 centres from the list of centres given. Fill the choices in the descending order of preference.
  4. Uploading the scanned copy of the photograph and signature:

The images must conform to the details specified above else they will not be accepted by the portal. Make sure that the pixels are not distorted.

  1. Declaration: once all the details have been submitted in the online mode, the aspirant must select the bubble next to the declaration. It says that all the information furnished in the application form is accurate to my knowledge. This is to make aspirant responsible for the information furnished by him/her.

Step 4: Submitting TS PGECET Application Form 2018

The aspirant must preview the entire application form, the form can be checked in the preview method and after ensuring that all the information is correct, one must hit the final submit button. Be slow with this step. Any information establishes inaccurate later cannot be edited.

Application Form Correction of TS PGECET

TS PGECET gives provision to accurate the inaccurate information entered at the time of submitting the application form. This will be a slow procedure of information correction. The accurate details can be sent to TS PGECET office or can be mailed to info@tspgecet.org or contact 040-27097124. This ensures that all the information has been checked. The aspirant must preview the entire application form in one go before hitting the final submit button. The students must thus, be slow with the last step of final submission of the application form.

Qus. Can I fill TS PGECET application form offline?

Ans. No, you can fill the application form in the online method only. The offline provision has been clearly removed from the system of admission.

Qus. Do I have to upload my caste certificate online?

 Ans. Just carry the copy of the same in the examination centre. No, you do not have to upload the scanned copy of the document. This will be checked the test centre.

Ans. No, you take a print out of the clearly filled application form and keep it for future reference.
