TNEA 2018 Application Form will be announced by Anna University online from May, 2018 onwards. TNEA registration will continue tentatively until the last week of May, 2018. Aspirants must fulfill the certain eligibility criteria in order to be applicable for applying for TNEA 2018.
TNEA or Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions is organized for aspirants wishing to pursue Engineering degree in institutes belonging to Tamil Nadu. Anna University, Chennai is the body that will be organizing the admission procedure.

The qualifying criteria for TNEA depend on the number of factors mentioned below. The eligibility is also determined on the basis of the streams of engineering to which aspirants are interested to apply. The eligibility conditions are said below:

According to the G.O. (St) No. They have to submit the following documents: dated: 29.06.2010 aspirants who are Srilankan Tamil Refugee but pursuing in Tamil Nadu are permitted under open competition. 172 Higher Education (J2) Dept.
(i) Identification certificate from the Head Quarters Tahsildar.
(ii) Those who have no registration record in the refugee camp should submit a copy of passport, visa, and letter registered with the local Police Station.
To get qualified in the HSC or equivalent exam with minimum an average percentage of marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.

Note: As per the latest notification allocated by the Government of India it states that, for studying Marine Engineering Degree Course, aspirants should pass 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English with an average of 60 %. Furthermore, an at least of 50% in English either at Class X or Class XII is the need.
Aspirants should keep in mind that application with inaccurate information will be rejected by the exam authority. After successful completion of the registration aspirants will be automatically redirected to the login page. Post that he/she can select either ‘SAVE AND LOGOUT’ option or ‘SAVE AND PREVIEW option. The former options allow aspirants to make modifications in the application form. In this page aspirant required to fill in all the information details as asked in the application form.
Once the ‘print’ option is clicked no changes can be made on the application form. Check all the details before printing it out. Though the application reference number will be printed on the application form still it is recommended to note it down for future reference.
Step 3: Remittance of Application Fee
Application forms will not be accepted without the submission of the application fee. Application fee can be submitted both online (Credit Card/Debit card/ Net Banking) or offline. In case of both online and offline payments, bank charges will be eligible along with the fees.
