Tata Institute of Social Sciences does not declare an official TISSNET Syllabus. However, no major changes have been notified in the exam format and syllabus as yet. TISSNET 2018 Syllabus covers questions on 3 key areas viz. General Awareness, English Proficiency, and Maths & Logical Reasoning. There will be 100 objective questions, each carrying 1 mark.
While preparing for TISS NET (scheduled on January 6), practicing our exclusive sample papers will help you fetch better marks. They will give you an overall structure of the expected paper and formulate a better study plan.
For the ease of aspirants, TISS has also announced a Mock Test to measure the preparation level of examinees. Practicing the mock paper is of utmost importance, so as to know about your strengths and weaknesses.

There are 30 questions in the exam, each carrying 1 mark. There are about 35 main topics to be prepared. While preparing, we also recommend you to refer to NCERT books from class 9-12.

A total of 30 questions are asked from 2 broad areas- Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension. Aspirants having proper usage of words and sentence and good grammatical knowledge can easily crack this section. It is framed to judge the ability of the aspirant in usage and understanding of English language.
