The level of NEET competition is very high. You must prepare very hard and follow a robust study plan to get a seat in one of the top medical colleges in India. Over 11.5 lakh students appear for NEET in 2017 for just 52,715 seats in 412 medical colleges across the country.

Here we have come up with an exhaustive timetable for your preparation for NEET 2018. If you go via it with rigor, you would surely attain the success.

Exam Format for NEET 2018

Before following the timetable, it is very important for you to have a complete understanding of the exam format. This gives you a complete idea about how should you prepare for the exam.

NEET 2018 will be paper and pen based. The questions asked will be objective type and cover topics from four subjects that are Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology. Aspirants will be required to attempt 180 questions within the period of three hours.

Each of these subjects will be of 180 marks, so the whole exam will be of 720 marks. The question paper will be in 8 languages that are Hindi, English, Tamil, Bengali, Assamese, Gujarati, Telugu and Marathi. Check NEET 2018 Exam Format For every accurate attempt, the aspirants will be honored four marks while one mark will be deducted for every inaccurate attempt.

NEET 2018 Three Months Preparation Time Table

As the time constraint in the last few months is the biggest overhead for most of the students, you must follow a well-defined schedule to make it easy for you to study and complete the exam. The following timetable assumes that every month contains around four weeks.

You should keep minimum three days in every week mainly for the quizzes or mock tests, personally one day for each subject. For instance, you may reserve Monday for Biology, Wednesday for Chemistry, and Saturday for Physics specific to quizzes and practicing questions only.

Carry out the exhaustive study on the remaining four days every week. Go via the month-wise weekly study plan below. The topics from either XI or XII class are marked explicitly.

NEET 2018 Exercise and Revision

Your preparation would not be as useful if you do not exercise it regularly. Once your theoretical concepts are complete, you must exercise as many questions as possible from each of the chapters to be perfect.

You should go via the NEET papers of the earlier years and sample papers. It is good to follow multiple books for covering as many problems as you can, but you should also avoid the reference of too many books.

Well to conclude, you must be on your toes right from now for preparation of the NEET 2018 exam. But you also should not study for more than three hours at a stretch.

It is suggested that apart from following the tips mentioned above for the preparation of the NEET exam, you must also give little time to relax your mind via any method that entertains you. These may comprise listening to music and talking to your friends. All the best! But at the same time, do not overconsume your time.
