SSC Stenographer 2018 Exam Format will be announced for ‘Grade C & Grade D’ posts organized by SSC (Staff Selection Committee). It is a common exam for aspirants who have successfully finished their Intermediate from a recognised board of the university.

  • The difficulty of questions is expected to be of secondary level but considering the number of participants, there will be a tough competition as usual.
  • The exam will be organized in the online mode
  • SSC Stenographer exam is going to be organized in 2nd week of August 2018
  • SSC Stenographer 2018 Exam Format includes 200 objective type questions in the Preliminary exam.
  • In pre-exam questions from Reasoning, General awareness and English sections will be asked.

Marking Scheme for SSC Stenographer 2018

SSC Stenographer 2018 Preliminary exam includes of 200 objective type questions with the weight of 200 marks carrying 1 mark each. The competition level is quite tough considering the number of participants. The merit list of the students will be based upon the marks scored by the students in preliminary exam. Marking scheme for the exam is given below. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each negative answer.

SSC Stenographer 2018 Skill Test

After qualifying the Preliminary examination, aspirants required to go via skill test to get selected for the post. Aspirants who qualifies the preliminary exam and applicable for the skill test, will be given one dictation for the time duration of 10 minutes in Hindi as well as English with at least speed of 100 words per minute for the stenographer grade C posts while for Grade D the at least speed would be 80 words per minute. The skill test/stenography test will be conducted at different sub-regional offices or at some other centers.
