SSC (Staff Selection Commission) CGL Sample Question 2018

SSC CGL is an examination organizeed for graduates to get a job in different Central Civil posts. So, aspirants who are preparing for the examination should check the SSC CGL Syllabus and its examination format.

The test window for SSC CGL 2018 Tier I is expected to start from August 01 to August 20, 2018.    The last date to fill SSC CGL Application Form is June 16, 2018.

SSC takes this examination at the graduate level and there are in total of 4 sections in the overall examination. The examination contains a total of 200 questions for which 200 marks remain at stake.SSC CGL takes place in 3 tiers and this being the first tier is the easiest among the rest.

  • You may switch between sections as there is a consolidated time section. But the overall time limit must be strictly observed.
  • Time yourself strictly for the paper – 75 minutes and no more.
  • It should be noted by aspirants is that there is Negative Marking of 0.5 Marks in this Exam. So, plan for the exam is according to the format & syllabus of SSC.
  • Each part is of equal importance so aspirants have to focus on each & every part of this exam.
  • Remember that there is no Section wise Cut Off in this Exam.

Once you qualify via this preliminary stage, you qualify for the Tier II stage (Mains stage). SSC CGL 2018 Tier I Exam is an online objective MCQ test of 100 questions worth 200 marks. Here is the format.  The marks of Tier I exam count toward the final total. SSC CGL 2018 would be of 75 minutes period consisting of 4 sections.

Tips to Go-Via SSC CGL 2018 Questions

C. Quantitative Aptitude

D. General Awareness

General awareness is not something you can expect to master in a day.
