SSC MTS 2018 Result will be released in 2 parts. SSC MTS 2018 is an all India open competitive examination. The result of Paper 1 exam will be released in May 2019 and the final result will be released in June 2019.

  • Aspirants who will qualify in Paper 2 will be appointed in MTS posts.
  • The result will be in the PDF pattern.
  • The merit list will be on the basis of the performance of aspirants in the written examination.

SSC MTS (Staff Selection Commission Multi-Tasking Staff) examination is organizeed by SSC (Staff Selection Commission) every year. How to check SSC MTS Result 2018?

Aspirants can check their SSC MTS 2018 Result on the official website of the organizing authority. The steps for checking the result are as follows:

  • Click on the “result” tab.
  • A PDF will open as you click on the result. It will contain the list of successful aspirants.
  • Your roll number or name will be situated automatically on the list.
  • Search for SSC MTS Result. You can find a link that says “click here” under result column. Click on that link.
  • A pop-up window will appear on your computer screen containing different tabs such as CHSL, CGL, JE, JHT, etc. Click on “Departmental exam”.
  • There will be thousands of names on the list. The easiest way to find your result is to press “CTRL +F” on your keyboard.
  • Search for the “result” tab in the header menu on the home page.
  • A search box will appear on the page.
  • If you cannot find your roll number or name on the list, it means that you have not qualified in the examination.

SSC does not publish any scorecard for aspirants who have appeared in SSC MTS examination. However, there are some important things that you must know:

  • Aspirants can see the marks that they have obtained in SSC MTS 2018 by clicking on the result button.
  • Aspirants have to find their roll number or name on the list to see the marks obtained by them.
  • If an aspirant does not find his name on the PDF, it implies that he has not qualified for the examination.

  • A PDF link will appear.

Merit List of SSC MTS 2018

Aspirants can check if they are applicable for Paper II in the merit list that will be published by SSC after the paper I examination of SSC MTS 2018. Selected aspirants will be allowed to appear for Paper-II examination. The Paper II for SSC MTS will be of qualifying nature. If two or more aspirants obtain equal marks, then it will be resolved by following some rules:

  • If the tie exists even after following the above two rules, then the older aspirant will be given preference.
  • Aspirants will be judged on the marks that they have obtained in Part III of Paper1.
  • If the tie still exists, then they will be judged on the marks that they have obtained in Part II of Paper 1.

Aspirants who will obtain the qualifying marks in Paper II and will secure a position on the final merit list based on Paper I examination will be appointed in the MTS posts.

Cut off from SSC MTS 2018

Cut off marks is the at least marks that aspirants required to obtain for qualifying in SSC MTS 2018 examination. It will be announced by SSC on their official website during the releasement of results. SSC MTS 2018 cut off marks varies from year to year as it depends on some parameters.

The factors that affect the cut off marks are as follows:

  • Average marks scored by aspirants
  • Number of aspirants who have appeared for the examination

Counseling of SSC MTS 2018

After the releasement of the final result in June 2019, selected aspirants will be appointed for MTS posts. Aspirants whose names appear on SSC MTS 2018 merit list will be recruited to the MTS posts of the central government.

Aspirants will be appointed after document verification. The documents that aspirants required to carry during the appointment to MTS posts are as follows: The original certificates will be returned back to them.

  • Birth certificate
  • Category certificate (if eligible)
  • Proof of residence
  • Passport size photographs
  • Certificate of the qualifying examination
  • Identity proof (PAN Card, Voter ID card, etc)

Photocopies of documents will not be accepted. Aspirants required to carry original documents.
