SSC MTS 2019 exam is for the appointment of group “C” posts in the central government employment scheme. MTS exam will be organized in an online method in the month of December 2019.

Aspirants have to fill the online application form in August 2019 which will be followed by the availability of the hall ticket in the online method in December 2019. Students who qualify paper I will be allowed to write SSC MTS paper II.

It is compulsory that the students fulfill all the SSC MTS eligibility criteria defined by SSC. Aspirants must be class “X” qualified which is essential to appear for the exam.

SSC MTS job profile is about doing the multi-tasking job.

The multi-tasking staff is a general central service group ‘C’ non-gazetted, non-ministerial post that falls under Payband-1 (Rs.5200 - 20200) + Grade Pay Rs.1800. The in-hand salary comes to be around Rs.18000- Rs.22000.

Students must complete the at least regional cut off defined for each of the regions. The student is entitled to qualify the regional cut off of only one of the regions, no late switch is allowed between the regions. The cut off will vary with all the regions.

Eligibility Criteria for SSC MTS 2019

An aspirant must read and fulfill all the eligibility criteria defined by the authorities. The criteria are defined by age, educational qualification, and nationality. If not applicable then the selection may get canceled.


  1. An aspirant must be the citizen of India OR belongs to Bhutan or Nepal.
  2. Ward of Tibetan refugees who came over to India, with the intention of permanently settling in India before the 1st January 1962.
  3. A Person of Indian origin (PIO) who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries such as Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India is applicable.

Educational Qualification

  1. At Least 10th passed from the recognised university of the board will be eligible. OR
  2. An equivalent examination in case the qualifying examination is finished from outside India.

Note- DOB (Date of Birth) which is recorded in the Senior Secondary Education will be taken into consideration by the commission.

SSC MTS Application Form 2019:

SSC MTS 2019 application form can be filled in the online method or offline mode. In offline mode, the fee can be paid via bank challan. In the online mode, the fee can be paid by credit/ debit card.

SSC MTS application form online mode:

Step 1: Registration:

  1. Visit the official SSC website
  2. Look for the tab “Notice”. Click on the tab and thus search for “SSC MTS 2019” application form.
  3. Read the pre-instructions cautiously.
  4. Complete the procedure of registration by providing the details of a phone number, email id, and name.

Step 2: Filling the academic details:

  1. Log in to the system with the details of the registration number and password.
  2. Complete the details of education concerned with class X, XII, and graduation.
  3. Upload the marks obtained in percentage.
  4. Offer the details of father’s name, mother’s name and set up a security question as per your choice from the drop-down.

Step 3: Uploading the scanned copy of the photograph and signature

  1. Once all the details of educational qualification have been successfully filled, then upload the scanned copy of your photograph and signature.
  2. The size of the photograph and signature must not be more than 50KB.
  3. The photograph must be colored in a light background and signature must be done in the running handwriting.

Step 4: payment of application fee.

  1. Application fee has to be paid according to the category details.
  2. Payment can be done from the credit/ debit card or e-challan.
  3. A confirmation mail will be sent once the application fee has been paid.

Application fee SSC MTS 2019:

  1. An amount of Rs.100 has to be paid as application fee by male aspirants of general category.
  2. No application fee has to be paid by SC/ST/Physically handicapped or ex-servicemen.

How to download the SSC MTS hall ticket 2019:

  • Enter the details of your registration number and password or date of birth details.
  • Click on the “Search Now” button.
  • Visit the official SSC website and search for the tab “SSC MTS 2019 hall ticket”.
  • Click on the link and locate your regional website link from the downloaded website.
  • Take a printout of the hall ticket.
  • Select the area/ city preferred while applying for SSC MTS 2019 exam.

Exam Format for SSC MTS 2019:

  • Exam format consists of two papers i.e. paper I & paper 2.
  • Paper I is an objective type paper in which 0.25 marks are deducted for every wrong response and question paper will be set up in both ( English and Hindi language).
  • Paper II is a descriptive type of exam in which a short essay has to be written in English or any other language. The elementary language skills are judged.

SSC MTS Exam Center 2019:

SSC MTS exam centers are divided into 9 zones. A aspirant has to choose only 3 exam centers from the list given. In case of any issue with the hall ticket downloading or uploading, the student can report to the authorities at the regional center. Once the complained has been alloted at the regional center, then your request will be procedureed.

Exam center list can undergo a change without prior notice. So students may be allotted test centers in accordance with the changed list.

SSC MTS Result 2019

Once the descriptive exam is over then SSC MTS exam result will be published online. It is important to keep the details of registration handy and the details of roll number, date of birth, etc. Students who have finished the SSC MTS tier II exam would be able to check SSC MTS result in the online mode.

SSC MTS Previous Year Cut off

SSC MTS cut off will be declared once the exam is over and the result has been declared. The cut off varies with each category which writes the exam. Mostly cut off is low for the SSC MTS exam as there is less number of test takers. The scorecard will be used for checking if the cut off has been passed or not.
