SSC JE 2018 Application Form will have to be filled by aspirants online. The application forms will be available from the 2nd week of September 2017. Aspirants with a bachelor's degree in civil, mechanical or electrical engineering are applicable to apply for SSC JE exam.

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) organizes SSC JE (Staff Selection Commission Junior Engineers) examination. Aspirants appearing for this examination are appointed for the post of Junior Engineers and Group ‘B’ Non-Gazetted posts by the Commission.

Registration Prerequisites
Before starting with the registration procedure, aspirants must see to it that they have the following willing to avoid any hassle during application:
Aspirants can fill up SSC JE 2018 Application Form online. They required to follow the steps listed below to clear their application procedure.
Step 1: Aspirants will have to visit the official SSC JE website www.ssconline.nic.in. In case they face any problem, they can visit www.ssconline2.gov.in.
Step 2: Aspirants will now have to register with a valid email id and password.
Step 3: Aspirants will now have to fill in all individual and academic details as asked in the application form.
Step 4: Aspirants will now have to upload a recent passport size photograph and a scanned copy of their signature.

Aspirants have to upload a scanned image of his/her passport size photograph and signature as per the need specifications set by SSC JE organizeing body. The scanner resolution should be set to a at least of 200 dpi (dots per inch) for the best results.

Step 5: Aspirants will now have to pay the application fee. Aspirants can pay the fee either online via credit card, debit card or net banking or via offline method with an eChallan.
Step 6: There will be 2 parts in the application procedure. Aspirants who have filled Part 1 and have paid the application fee will be able to proceed to Part 2 of the application procedure.
Step 7: Aspirants will have to click on the Submit button to clear their application procedure. Aspirants are advised to thoroughly check all details before submitting the form because no changes will be allowed after that.
Aspirants applying for SSC JE 2018 will have to pay the application fee for their application to be deemed valid. Aspirants can pay the fee either online via credit card, debit card or net banking or via offline method with an eChallan.
The application fee is ₹ 100. Women, ex-servicemen and other reserved category aspirants are exempted from paying this application fee.
Aspirants can expect that it will be allowed to edit their application form for a limited duration of time. It can be done by logging in with aspirant’s login ID and password. Aspirants must note that once they have paid the application fee, SSC JE online form cannot be edited. They can however not exceed three courses. After completing the payment, aspirants can also add additional courses of their choice by paying an additional amount of same fee.
