The results of SSC JE 2018 will be declared usually 1 month after the paper is over. Since there are two papers, paper 1’s result will be declared first. All results of SSC JE 2018 will be available on the official website of SSC and there is no provision of providing results by hand or by post. Aspirants who complete paper 1 will be able to sit in paper 2 and within a month of paper 2 exams, the result of the paper 2 will be announced.

As already mentioned, to check the result, there are different options to choose from.
The result tab represents the list of the qualifying aspirants depending on the paper chosen. It comprises the Serial number, Roll number, Name, Category of all successful aspirants.
Aspirants can click on “Marks” to check the marks they have got in the exam and whether they have been chosen or rejected. The marks of only the successful aspirants are given, along with their name, roll number, and category. All other names are the names of the aspirants who were absent or rejected.
Within a few days after the SSC JE Exam, SSC will announce the Response Key on its official portal. Firstly, Response Key of SSC JE Paper 1 exam will be uploaded on the website. Aspirants can check their responses with the response key which will give them a fair idea of their performance, whether they are qualified for Paper 2 or not and they can start preparing for Paper 2.
Similarly, Response Key of Paper 2 will also be announced on the website and aspirants can get a rough idea of whether they are liable for selection or not for the post of junior engineer.
In order to check the response key, aspirants required to log on to the site with their Roll Number, Password and Exam Date.
Response key will be displayed on the screen and aspirants can tally with their responses. Aspirants can also raise their objections, if any, on the site. In the Response Key section, there is the option of Response Key challenge - CGLE Examination 2018. However, you can challenge the response key on the dates specified by SSC and not on any other dates.
The Merit List of SSC JE is the result sheet wherein the names of the aspirants who have successfully completed the exam are displayed, along with their roll number and categories. The merit list is prepared by the organizing authorities of SSC. However, this is a general list of successful aspirants. You can also check your rank in the merit list in various stream.

Aspirants who have appeared for SSC JE 2018 can go via SSC JE Tier 1 and Tier 2 Cut Off that is prepared using raw scores and earlier year statistics. This is prepared by SSC. You can check the cutoff on the website in the Result section.
For this, you have to click on Write Up tab in the Result sheet as per the examination date. The entire details of cut-offs and total aspirants in each category will be displayed. Cut-offs in various specializations will also be displayed.

Once the results of SSC JE 2018 paper 2 are declared, all successful aspirants required to appear for counseling procedure as per the dates specified by the organizing authorities. Attending the counselling session is a must for all successful aspirants to know in details their place of posting and time of joining. Counselling usually is scheduled in June/July 2018.
Aspirants who have successfully completed SSC JE paper 2 will be called for counselling. if any will be verified by the related authorities. All information concerned counselling will be available to the aspirants through SMS and their individual email id. You can also check online for the counselling dates, venue and timing. During the counselling procedure, all necessary documents like as hall ticket, mark sheets (class 10, class 12 graduation), caste/category certificate, including transfer certificate, organize certificate etc. Your physical presence is highly advisable on the day of counselling.
