SSC CGL Tier 2 2018 (February 20) Question Paper, Answer Key & Paper Analysis

SSC CGL Tier 2 was successfully organized today. According to the feedback, the overall exam seemed to be moderate according to the level of questions. Amongst all, General Awareness was the most difficult section while Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning were comparatively easier. Check SSC CGL Cut off (Tier 2) English section was moderate with respect to other three sections.

Response Key for SSC CGL 2018 Tier 2

The response key is expected to be announced 15-20 days after the exam, so we can expect the key for SSC CGL Tier 2 to be announced by the month of March 2018. With the approximate cut off and approximate marks, aspirants can find the tentative total of the exam. Key includes the accurate responses to the exam questions.  Aspirants can check their approximate total. For every set of question paper, a corresponding response key is offered.

You can find the response key for the exam over the official website of SSC. Below are the given steps to reach the response key for the given exam:

  • Look for ‘SSC CGL Tier 2 Solution Key 2018’ link on the website.
  • The official SSC CGL Tier 2 Response Key 2018 will be published on the website of SSC i.e. ssc.nic.in within the month of March.
  • Click on the link and enter the registration details like number, password etc.
  • After filling in all details click on ‘Submit’ button to download the response key.

SSC CGL 2018 Paper Analysis Tier 2

1 Quantitative Aptitude

The overall difficulty level seemed to be similar to last year. Most parts of the question paper were dedicated to arithmetic questions from the topics like- Profit & Loss, Percentages, Time-Speed-Distance and more.

2 Reasoning

The difficulty level of Reasoning was easy to moderate. Matrix, Coding-Decoding, Blood Relations were quite easy while Odd One Out, Analogy seemed to be difficult in front of the earlier topics.

3 General Awareness

This section was compared to be moderate too but difficult in few areas History and Politics. Other areas were moderate with Science and Economics creating a balance between difficult and moderate. General Awareness is generally unpredictable.

English

This section seemed to be moderate as per the feedback. Rest tried to maintain the balance, it depends on the aspirant to finally decide well. Topics like Idioms, One Word Substitution or Antonyms-Synonyms, were quite unpredictable and fell into the difficult category.
