SSC CGL (Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level) Registration Commences 2018

SSC will announce the official notification for SSC CGL Exam 2018 in the month of February 2018. The last date to apply for SSC CGL is March 24, 2018. The commission will organize the Tier 1 exam of SSC CGL from August 27, 2018. The Tier 2 exam of SSC CGL 2018 is scheduled to be organizeed on September 5 to 8, 2018 (Tentative) and Tier 3 will be held on November 12, 2018 (Tentative).

  • SSC CGL 2018 online application form consists of 2 steps- Online Registration and Online Form Filling.
  • All the participants need to send only one SSC CGL application, as multiple applications from the same aspirant would be summarily rejected.
  • Aspirants who have finished their graduation in any stream will be applicable to apply for SSC CGL 2018.
  • Registration procedure for SSC CGL 2018 will commence from February 13, 2018, and will last up to March 24, 2018.
  • SSC CGL 2018 Application Form would be available only in online mode.

Registration Procedure of SSC CGL 2018

SSC CGL 2018 registration procedure requires the participant to go via the following stages:

SSC CGL 2017 Registration

SSC CGL 2018 Registration Procedure: This is the step 1 of the CGL 2018 Application form filling. The aspirant will receive a mail-in their email id. The aspirant has to click on the activation link to get his account activated on the portal. The aspirant has to get the registration done by providing the basic details like name, age, mobile number, date of birth and email address.

SSC CGL 2018 Application Procedure: This is the step 2 in the procedure of filling the SSC CGL 2018 Application form. The aspirant must clear this step by providing the details of the educational qualification and other details as asked. The details will be saved in the database of SSC CGL exam team. Once the page is filled click on โ€œSaveโ€ button. The aspirant must move to the next step immediately which is uploading the scanned copy of the photograph and signature.

Document upload SSC CGL 2018: This is a very important step. The CGL 2018 documents need are as follows: This requires the aspirant to upload the scanned copy of the photograph and signature within the defined size limit.

Payment of Application fees: Now, you have to choose the Payment Option. i.e. either online or offline payment.

  • However, if you choose to make payment via Online method viz. Credit Cards/Debit card/ Net Banking etc., then you can straight proceed for Part-II registration after completing the Part-1 Registration.
  • If you choose offline payment, then the system will generate a Challan form, that should be printed and taken to the nearby SBI Discipline for Payment of application fees and note Down the Transaction no. given by the Bank and continues with Part-II registration.

Submission of Application form: Now, you have to upload the Scanned copy of your Photograph and Signature, as Registration is incomplete without this step. We have already mentioned the Size and Dimensions of Scanned Documents.

SSC CGL 2018 Application Form Correction

Aspirants must be extremely careful as there is no option for editing the details offered during the Registration after the Final Submission of the SSC CGL application. SSC accepts the application which is last filled by the aspirants along with the payment made of that application form. If a mistake occurs at the time of filling of details in the registration part, aspirants can start the entire process of Registration I again.


Eligibility Criteria for SSC CGL 2018

A number of SSC CGL 2018 Eligibility Criteria is eligible to all the aspirants applying for the examination. It is compulsory for all the aspirants to abide by these criteria. A few important SSC CGL Eligibility Criteria is discussed below: The SSC CGL 2018 Eligibility Criteria is inclusive of the nationality, educational qualification, age limit, physical standards etc.

  1. Nationality: SC CGL Eligibility Criteria as per Nationality mandates an aspirant to be a resident of the prescribed states only. The aspirant must be:
    1. A citizen of India OR
    2. A subject of Nepal OR
    3. A subject of Bhutan OR
    4. A Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before January 1, 1962, to permanently settling in India OR
    5. A PIO (Person of Indian Origin) who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam to permanently settle down in India.
  2. Age Limit: The aspirants should satisfy the age limit criteria eligible to various posts. It differs from post to post. The Commission accepts the Date of Birth mentioned on the Matriculation / Secondary Examination Certificate only. Candidates applying for SSC CGL must not be less than 18 years and cannot be more than 32 years of age.
  3. Age Relaxation: There is a relaxation of the age limit criteria for aspirants belonging to various reserved categories. Relaxation of Upper age limit for different categories is SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), PH (10 years) etc.
  4. Educational Qualification: The basic academic eligibility that the aspirants have to fulfil is to have a Bachelorโ€™s degree. There are other criteria such as at least percentage, Course of graduation that is eligible for various posts are different.

Hall Ticket for SSC CGL 2018

SSC CGL 2018 Hall Ticket will be available on the official website i.e. www.ssc.nic.in, starting from the first week of August 2018. As no postal service will be offered to the aspirants, it is recommended to download it at the earliest from the official website.

SSC CGL 2018 Hall Ticket will contain information about exam date, venue and time. A valid ID proof has to be carried along with the hall ticket on the exam day. Aspirants will have to attach a passport size photograph and sign the photograph.
