The results of the SRM Joint Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE) that was held from April 16 to April 30, 2018 across the country, for admission to B.Tech degree programs provided at SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST), Kattankulathur (Chennai), SRM Haryana, Sonepat and SRM AP, Amaravati, were declared on May 01, 2018. The test was organized across 123 centers in India and in 5 centers across the Middle East for NRI Aspirants.
Admissions to the B.Tech programs in SRM Group of Institutions will be done based on the ranks in SRMJEEE. 76000 young candidates out of 1,72,825 aspirants are being invited for counseling. The results and the counseling schedule were released on May 01, 2018 via the official SRM University website. Counseling for admission to B.Tech has been scheduled for SRM University- Haryana, SRM University- AP, Amaravati from May 07 to May 10, 2018, at their respective campuses. SRM Institute of Science & Technology has scheduled counseling from May 11 to May 20, 2018, at its NCR campus and Kattankulathur campus.
Aspirants can download their rank card, counseling call letter by logging in to their dashboard. Top 100 ranks in SRMJEEE will receive 100% waiver of tuition and hostel fees, rank 101 to 500 - 100% tuition fee waiver, rank 501 to 1000 – 75% tuition fee waiver and rank 1001 to 2000- 50% tuition fee waiver and rank 2001 to 3000- 25% tuition fee waiver. Establisher’s Scholarships will be honored based on the rank obtained in SRMJEEE 2018 on the first day of counseling.
A total of INR 30 Crore worth of scholarships is on provide across SRM group of institutions. The top states from where students applied are UP Maharashtra, Delhi, Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal, Telangana, Haryana and Tamil Nadu. Of the total participants, in the top 10,000 ranks, 66% students are from CBSE.
