Students want to enroll in one of the different management programs at the Symbiosis International University (SIU) affiliated B-schools have to clear the SNAP Test (Symbiosis National Aptitude Test). Admission at these institutes is based on participants’ overall academic records and SNAP Test Score.
While institutes shortlist aspirants appropriate for admission to their programs, likewise, aspirants too select institutes based on several criteria concerned to institutes’ performance in terms of teaching, infrastructure, corporate interaction and most importantly placements.
The shortlisting criteria for admission at the different Symbiosis Institutes is decided by the SIU and these criteria are listed thus:

The above shortlisting criteria are applicable for admission at all the Symbiosis Management Institutes accepting SNAP score. Even though the basis of shortlisting of aspirants remains the same, however, each of these institutes has their various set of cut-off scores.
Selected participants take the final judgment for admission at a particular institute based on the need tuition fee for the program and the average placement record of the target institute. Of the institutes accepting SNAP scores, the top three institutes with the highest average placement records are SIBM-Pune, SCMHRD-Pune, and SIBM-Bengaluru. In order to be considered to be shortlisted for admission at the above listed Symbiosis Institutes, SNAP participants need to apply separately to each of the target institutes. Aspirants, after the SNAP results are declared, if shortlisted, can attend selection procedure of GE-PI-WAT conducted by each of these institutes separately.
It is worthwhile to mention here the SNAP Test format as well as sectional weightage for the benefit of participants.
