Second OJEE 2018 (July)- Check exam dates, how to apply and syllabus

The Orissa State Government has decided to organize OJEE  twice a year starting from 2018. In an official notification, the organizing authority has mentioned that the application form for Second OJEE 2018 will be available from the month of July.

The second OJEE or Orissa Joint Entrance Examination will be organized for admission into first year B.Tech, lateral entry, MBA, and MCA seats falling vacant in private technical institutions

This initiative has been taken place to reduce the number seats remaining vacant in private colleges participating in OJEE. In the academic year 2018-17, Only 13,000 seats were filled out of 40,000.

The second OJEE will be held for aspirants who failed to appear for JEE Main 2018 and are ready to participate in OJEE B.Tech Admission 2018.

Important Points

  • The official notification for OJEE 2018 will be announced in July
  • The exam will be organized in all the districts of Orissa
  • Aspirants who already appeared for JEE Main can also apply for OJEE 2018
  • The exam format and syllabus will be similar to first OJEE 2018 exam
  • Questions will be framed from class 11 and class 12 syllabus

Second OJEE 2018 Important Dates

The official dates will be announced along with the notification in July. Aspirants can check the tentative schedule from the table mentioned below:-

How to register for Second OJEE 2018?

Interested aspirants can apply online at  The entire application procedure will be online including the payment of fees.

  • Visit the official website-
  • Print the submitted application form
  • Click on “online application form” link
  • Remit the application fee
  • Upload the need documents
  • Click on Submit button
  • Enter the asked details

Second OJEE 2018 Expected Exam Format

Although no notification has been announced regarding the expected exam format for second OJEE. However, it is expected it will be set on same guidelines of first OJEE.

  • Questions will be objective
  • It will be organized in offline mode
  • Exam period will be of 2 hours
  • A medium of examination will be English

Second OJEE 2018 Result Declaration

Similar to First OJEE 2018, The result for Second OJEE 2018 will be declared online on the official website i.e. Aspirants can check their result by following the below-mentioned steps:-

  • Click on the result link
  • Enter registration number and password
  • Visit official website
  • Click on submit button

Second OJEE 2018 Counseling Procedure

Step for OJEE 2018 Counseling Procedure: OJEE 2018 Counseling has the following 7 steps. The detail description for each step is given below.

Step 1 – Registration:

  • Enter your OJEE 2018 Roll Number, Registration number, and Date of Birth.
  • Open the OJEE 2018 website
  • Click on “New Registration”
  • Click on “Submit” button
  • Click on the “I Agree” Option for further Processing
  • Now register yourself by selecting the suitable course and

Step 2 – Enter Personal Details:

In this screen, all the data offered by the aspirant during submission of application will be displayed and some new fields will be asked to be filled in by the aspirant.

  • It must have at least One capital letter, One small latter, and one digit (A-Z, a-z, and 0-9) and
  • Enter your Personal Address, Mobile Number etc.
  • Password must be 8 to 13 characters length
  • Now enter your Password and again re-enter the same Password in the confirm password box
  • It must also have one special character (!, @,#,$,%,^,&,*)
  • Give your Bank Details

Aspirants must remember this password. This password shall be used in future for choice filling and be viewing OJEE 2018 Result Details etc.

Step 3 – Verify the Registration Details:

In this step verify the details of registration. If you establish some inaccurate data then

  • If all the information is accurate then click on confirm registration box to complete the registration procedure
  • Click on edit registration and edit the inaccurate data and make it correct
  • In the next screen, click on Print Details Button and get the printout of the Registration Slip

Note: Produce this registration slip at the Nodal Centre during document verification.

Step 4 – Choice Filling:

After successful registration, aspirants click on Fill Choice button given in the MENU bar of the screen. Next, a screen will open with some instructions. Aspirants read these instructions and click on proceed to the next screen for choice filling.

  • In the Left block the colleges can be listed according to Government/ Private or All
  • After completing the choice filling, click on save button to save and take a print out of Filled in Choice Slip for your reference
  • You may use the SWAP and MOVE options to change the priority of already filled in choices
  • In the Right block, aspirants fill the choices
  • There will be two blocks (left block and right block) in the next screen
  • You may also add your choices of colleges and disciplinees from the left block by two methods1- Multiple addition using ADD MULTIPLE BUTTON and 2- Addition of one by one using ADD button
  • During choice filling procedure, save the choices in regular intervals using SAVE & CONTINUE button
  • Aspirants may give as many as choices
  • The Left block contains the list of all colleges and disciplines in alphabetical order
  • You may select as many choices of Institutions and disciplines as possible on priority basis to get better option for allocation of a seat in the procedure

Aspirants should arrange the filled in choices in order of their preferences of colleges and disciplineOne college with one discipline will be treated as one choiceFor Ex- College of Engineering & Technology (CET), Electrical discipline should be treated as one choice. Similarly, College of Engineering & Technology (CET), Mechanical discipline should be treated as another choice and so on.
