SBI Recruitment 2018 for Clerk (Junior Associate)

State Bank of India (SBI) has invited aspirants for the recruitment of Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) in clerical cadre. Total 8,301 posts are announced for this position. A preliminary examination is likely to be held in March or April 2018 while the mains exam is tentatively scheduled for May 12, 2018SBI Clerks (Junior Associates) are designated as cashiers, depositors and other posts that form the face of a particular SBI Bank discipline and are in charge of all the client interactions and concerned operations.   • The emoluments for the clerical cadre would be about INR 23,600 per month inclusive of DA for cities like Mumbai.

Eligibility Criteria for SBI Clerk Junior Associate

  • Aspirants in the age group of 20 – 28 years as on January 1, 2018 are applicable to apply.
  • Aspirants ought to meet the necessary nationality requirement along with the basic educational qualification of a graduate degree. Only degrees from recognised universities/ institutes would be accepted for the port.
  • Extensions of age limit for different reserved categories as eligible in government extant rules are eligible.

Guidelines for Online Application Form

Aspirants interested need to apply online before February 10, 2018 on the official website sbi.co.in/careers. Aspirants establish not meeting the eligibility criteria would be rejected. Aspirants are again advised to go via the detailed notification before filling the online application forms. Following are the steps to apply online for SBI Clerk 2018:

  1. Aspirants log on to sbi.co.in
  2. Go to "Appointment of Junior Associates"
  3. Read the information cautiously & Click on "Apply Online"
  4. Click on Registration and fill in the details
  5. Pay the requisite application fee (INR 600 for general, INR 100 for SC/ST/OBC/PWD).
  6. Fill the details in the application & submit the Form.

Note: Aspirants must have their e-mail ID and contact number so that communication of events become possible for the examination.

Payment of Fees

  1. Aspirants require keeping their signatures and photograph in digital form according to the particulars in Annexure II of the official website notice.
  2. Visit official website of SBI i.e. sbi.co.in/careers
  3. Go to ‘Present Openings’
  4. Fill the application form cautiously.
  5. Aspirants need to pay the fees via the payment gateway. It could be done via Debit/Credit card or Net Banking.
  6. Take the print out of the e-receipt and the application form.

Exam Format for SBI Clerk Junior Associate

The syllabus of the Prelims Exam and that of the Mains Exam is more or less the same and aspirants with the strong understanding of concepts in the English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, Computer Knowledge and General Awareness will be able to hold a better position in the examination.

Hall Ticket for SBI Clerk Junior Associate

Registered aspirants will need to download SBI Clerk Hall Ticket 2018 from the official website of State Bank of India as the hard copy of the SBI Clerk hall ticket won’t be couriered to participants. The hall ticket for SBI Clerk Exam 2018 will be announced in two stages - hall ticket for the preliminary exam, the hall ticket for mains exam.

  • Login on the career page of SBI, for which the aspirant needs to fill the Registration Number/Roll Number, Date of Birth/Password.
  • One must log in to their account created while filling in the online application form and download the hall ticket.
  • The hall ticket for SBI Clerk 2018 exam will be allocated to aspirants in two phases i.e. for Preliminary Exam and for Mains Exam.
