Punjab University Common Entrance Test is organizeed to offer admission in different undergraduate courses. PUCET 2018 (U.G.) will be organizeed on June 3, 2018, at Chandigarh. The entrance test is organizeed by Punjab University, Chandigarh. Aspirants who want admission to different B.Sc. courses in different subjects are needed to appear and qualify PUCET.
PUCET 2018 will be organizeed in offline mode. The nature of questions will be multiple-choice questions for all the subjects. The number of papers will be depended on the combination of subjects selected by the aspirants. The total period of examination varies from aspirant to aspirant on the selection of subjects. The time allotted per subject is 70 minutes.

Aspirants should thoroughly study the 10+1 and 10+2 syllabus of Science as per the organizing board. No additional syllabus is a need or prescribed by the organizing body.

The nature of questions asked in PU CET is multiple-choice questions. Each question carries 2 marks making the maximum total of 120 marks.
The total number of questions asked in each subject question paper is 60. Aspirants should mark/fill only one choice of the given four choices.
The evaluation scheme employs negative marking scheme. For every inaccurate answer, 0.5 or 25% of marks will be deducted out of the total responses answers. No marks will be allotted or deducted for unresponsive questions.
