OPGC appointment via GATE 2018 – Odisha Power Generation Corporation Ltd. which is a Public Sector Unit under the Government of the state of Odisha. It appoints professionals via the common entrance test of GATE 2018. The notification for the OPGC appointment via GATE will be announced soon.

The job profile of an executive trainee requires the aspirant to work with many departments on a rotational basis to understand the processes of different work conditions and get a complete job role. Initially the aspirants do work under their departmental heads and this is the starting level work, but eventually, they are promoted to executives who handle the work independently.

The only method of application to the vacancies is online, and the company entertains no either method of application by the aspirant. Also, the aspirants can apply for one position only. The steps to apply for the vacancies at OPGC are:
While filling the application form, the aspirant must have all the necessary documents willing at hand. These documents comprise a percentage of marks obtained at the graduate level, degree certificate, date of birth, caste certificate, scanned copy of GATE hall ticket, scanned passport size photograph and scanned copy of signatures etc.
In addition to online application by the aspirants, once selected, the aspirants also need to sign a Service Agreement Bond. According to this Bond, the selected aspirants shall need to execute a service agreement bond of Rs. 250000 to cater the company for an at least period of three years starting from the date of appointment.
The selection for the post of Executive Trainee is on the basis of GATE score only. A merit list shall be prepared by the organization and then the authorities shall upload a list of the selected aspirants on the official website.

The aspirant has to upload the GATE hall ticket, and mark sheet and also has to enter the marks in the need field. After this procedure, the aspirant has to take a print out of the application form and send it to “Odisha Power Generation Corporation Limited, HR Department, Zone-A, 7th Floor, Fortune Towers, Chandrashekherpur, Bhubaneswar- 751024” through speed post or courier along with a copy of GATE hall ticket, mark sheet and SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PWD certificate. The envelope containing the Application Form should be completely superscribed “Application for ET” and the name of the post for which the aspirant is applying.
